Cotton Arrivals Rising In India, Prices Might Drop

In comparison to its predictions for December 2022, the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) on Tuesday reduced its outlook for cotton prices globally. In its May outlook, ICAC predicted that the average price for the season would be between 96.1 and 111.3 cents per pound, with 102.77 cents as the middle. This is less than the expected midpoint of 115 cents for December 2022.
