Comet Opens Its First Mumbai Store in Khar
The 1,500 sq. ft. retail space at Park Eleven features a life-size astronaut sculpture, moss-inspired interiors and the brand’s latest sneaker collections.
Sneaker brand Comet has opened its first store in Mumbai at Park Eleven, Khar, expanding its retail presence in India. Spread across 1,500 sq. ft., the new store combines the brand’s sneaker collections with an interior design inspired by its cosmic identity.
The opening marks a new phase in Comet’s retail expansion, bringing its design-led sneaker offering to one of Mumbai’s fashion-focused neighbourhoods.
Cosmic Design Shapes the Retail Space
The store has been designed with sculptural elements, varied textures and playful details intended to reflect Comet’s brand identity. A life-size astronaut sculpture sits at the centre of the space, representing the brand’s cosmic theme and the idea of arriving somewhere new.
Green and blue moss features across the interiors, creating the impression of life emerging after a landing. The design brings together the store environment and product displays to create a retail experience centred on sneakers and contemporary culture.
Latest Sneaker Collections on Display
The Mumbai store features Comet’s latest sneaker releases alongside elements of the brand’s evolving design identity. The space is intended to bring together product and environment, positioning sneakers as part of both everyday wardrobes and wider cultural expression.
Commenting on the launch, Utkarsh Gupta, Co-Founder of Comet, said, “Mumbai has always felt like a natural city for Comet. It has this constant energy, where people, ideas and culture are always moving and colliding. With the Mumbai store, we wanted to take the world we have built through Comet and give it a physical space. The astronaut and the moss are our way of bringing that world to life.”
