Colliers Unveils 2024 Report, ‘Built to Last’ Strategy

India, June 12, 2025 – Colliers (NASDAQ and TSX: CIGI), a global leader in real estate professional services, has released its 2024 Global Sustainability Report. The report details achievements and progress aligned with the firm’s 2021 sustainability goals and introduces its updated sustainability strategy, ‘Built to Last’. This strategic approach outlines commitments to reducing the firm’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions while assisting clients in pursuing similar climate goals.
The framework guiding ‘Built to Last’ rests on three foundational pillars: Environmental Sustainability, Workplace Experience, and Ethical Governance & Practices.
Environmental Sustainability addresses the urgent need for carbon reduction pathways that increase asset resilience and meet climate mitigation goals. The Workplace Experience element centers on the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of people. Ethical Governance & Practices emphasizes Colliers’ adherence to responsible business conduct and data privacy, with strong cybersecurity protocols to protect both internal and external stakeholders.
Colliers also highlighted inclusivity and belonging as key strategic areas. In the Asia Pacific region, including India, enhancements were made to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to provide accessible wellness services, tailored support, and workshops. The company also improved its employee referral program to diversify its talent pool via employee networks.
Asia Pacific highlights from the report include:
- A 39.6% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions per sq. ft. from the 2021 baseline
- WELL Health-Safety Ratings achieved in all Colliers Asia Pacific offices
- 108% employee participation in the Colliers Gives global volunteering program
- 90% engagement rate in the global employee survey, with scores above external benchmarks
- 30% of manager-level and higher roles held by women
