CMAI’s FAB Show 2026 Sees Rapid Uptake, Signalling Strong Industry Momentum

The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) is set to host the 6th edition of the Fabrics, Accessories & Beyond Show (FAB Show 2026) from April 2 to 4, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. Positioned as India’s largest dedicated fabrics and accessories sourcing platform, the show has already recorded an emphatic industry response, with nearly 78% of its exhibition space booked within just 21 days of launch.
Over the years, FAB Show has evolved into a comprehensive B2B sourcing and networking hub for India’s garment manufacturing ecosystem, bringing together the entire textile value chain under one roof. The 2026 edition is expected to feature over 300 exhibitors across 2 lakh sq. ft. of exhibition space, covering fabrics, trims, accessories, technology solutions, and value-added services aligned with the needs of modern apparel manufacturing.

The upcoming edition is projected to attract more than 14,000 trade buyers from over 320 cities across India, including approximately 2,000 platinum dealers. International buyer participation is also expected to grow, with delegates from over 27 countries such as Bangladesh, the United States, Egypt, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, China, Russia, Turkey, Rwanda, Kenya, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. Key sourcing and decision-making representatives from major garment and export hubs including Surat, Ahmedabad, Noida, Jaipur, Tiruppur, Ludhiana, Kolkata, and Bengaluru are expected to attend, reinforcing the show’s strategic importance for domestic and export-focused manufacturers.
To facilitate meaningful engagement, FAB Show 2026 will feature curated Business Networking Sessions designed to enable focused one-on-one interactions between exhibitors and serious trade buyers, fostering faster deal-making and long-term sourcing partnerships.
Speaking about the upcoming edition, Santosh Katariya, President, CMAI, said,
“FAB Show has evolved into a high-impact sourcing and partnership platform for the garment industry at a time when supply chains are increasingly complex and cost-sensitive. For manufacturers, it is a powerful opportunity to showcase capabilities to serious trade buyers, open new accounts, and build long-term relationships for credible supplies aligned for the future. By enabling direct discovery, faster decision-making, and real business conversations on quality, compliance, pricing, and delivery, the show helps participants to strengthen their order pipeline and grow sustainably.”
Sustainability and Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be central themes at FAB Show 2026, reflecting the garment industry’s shifting priorities. A first-of-its-kind, day-long SU.RE Sustainability Conclave is being planned alongside the exhibition on April 3, 2026. The conclave will feature panel discussions, brand presentations, industry-led solutions, and a fashion show, and is expected to draw around 250 professionals from leading brands, manufacturers, and exporters.

In addition, a dedicated Sustainability & AI Pavilion will showcase 30–35 companies presenting eco-conscious innovations, AI-enabled applications, sustainable textiles, accessories, certifications, and next-generation production processes. The pavilion aims to provide visitors with first-hand exposure to practical, scalable, and technology-driven solutions shaping the future of apparel manufacturing.
Commenting on the show’s strong response, Naveen Sainani, Chairman – FAB Show, CMAI, said,
“FAB Show 2026 has received an overwhelming response with 78% of exhibition space booked in the first three weeks from launch. This edition will also see higher global participation than previous editions, further strengthening the show’s international relevance. With Sustainability and Artificial Intelligence as the central themes, the show reflects the evolving priorities of the garment industry by bringing together AI-driven solutions, eco-conscious innovations, and key stakeholders to enable smarter and more responsible sourcing and manufacturing.”
Conceptualised and launched by CMAI, FAB Show was created to address the sourcing needs of garment manufacturers through a single, integrated platform. With every edition, the show has expanded in scale, diversity, and industry relevance. The sixth edition is expected to be the most comprehensive yet, reaffirming FAB Show’s role as a cornerstone event for India’s garment and textile ecosystem.
