CMAI’s 83rd National Garment Fair Opens in Mumbai with 960+ Apparel Brands Across Two Venues

Three-day B2B sourcing event brings together over 600 womenswear brands, 345 menswear brands and retailers from India and overseas ahead of the festive season.

The 83rd National Garment Fair (NGF) organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) commenced in Mumbai on 13 July and will continue until 15 July 2026. Held simultaneously at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon for Womenswear and the MMRDA Grounds, BKC, Bandra for Menswear, the fair serves as a B2B sourcing platform for the Indian apparel industry.

The 83rd edition of CMAI’s National Garment Fair (NGF) opened at two venues in Mumbai, bringing together apparel manufacturers, retailers, distributors, wholesalers and trade buyers for one of India's largest B2B apparel sourcing events.

The Womenswear segment is being organised at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, while the Menswear segment is being held at the MMRDA Grounds, BKC, Bandra.

The event was inaugurated by Guests of Honour Rohit Kedia, Baazar Style Retail Ltd. (Style Bazaar), Kolkata (277 stores spanning 25,75,194 sq ft. retail space), Pankaj Mirchandani, G. Sachanand/Kalamandir, Indore (12 stores spanning 1,00,000 sq ft. retail space), and Divesh Malve, Taruni Clothing Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad (21 stores spanning 1,10,000 sq ft. retail space), in the presence of CMAI office bearers, managing committee members, exhibitors and retailers.

960+ Brands Across 40,000 Sq. Metres

Spread across more than 40,000 sq. metres of exhibition space, the fair features:

  • 600+ Womenswear brands
  • 345 Menswear brands
  • 45 Accessories brands
  • 560+ Womenswear stalls
  • 330+ Menswear stalls

The event is also hosting 284 pan-India platinum buyers, who have been provided with dedicated facilities.

Leading Apparel Brands Participate

Among the prominent Womenswear exhibitors are AANCHALS, JUNIPER, SCAKHI, STOCK OUT, A-LA-MODE, ANORA & SARISHA, MAAND, ESIKA, DRESSLINE, MOJILLA, ANVITA/CELEBRATION/ANAYA, DIYA DESIGN STUDIO, AMCHOOR, FLO, FOCUS JEANS, GLOBAL BALIKA, GOLANI LIFESTYLE, LIVA (GRASIM), LA FILLE, INNAYA, 123/AAA PLUS/INIA/LOVE U, MAITRI, RAVIRAA, ZOLA, ELE BELLE, REDROSE, INLOOK, and RA-REATRA/GURMAYA/AANCHI, among others.

The Menswear section includes brands such as TURTLE, WAVES/ORCHID/WHETHER/BLACK, WINE/ARISTO PLUS, AVEGA, AZZURRO/VOGARTINO, SPYRAL, TORSO/TALETA/VITUDA/TERRAZO, ORION, ORCHID STYLE, ZANAAB ETHNIC WEAR, RE CHANNEL, AEBBE, RED & WHITE, SAVRIYA, and MILAN, among others.

Domestic and International Buyer Participation

The fair has attracted retailers, wholesalers, distributors and trade buyers from across India, along with international visitors from UAE, Fiji, Australia, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mauritius, Albania, Italy, and Sri Lanka.

The event showcases apparel collections for the upcoming festive and wedding season, creating opportunities for sourcing, networking and business partnerships.

Speaking at the inauguration, Santosh Katariya, President, CMAI, said:

“The Indian apparel market is looking at a steady growth trajectory driven by consumption in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. In addition, e-commerce is enabling deeper penetration of regional brands and latest collections across India. The NGF has come around at an exciting time, where it will help speed up this process by bringing together the country's leading apparel brands, enabling retailers to source the latest collections and forge partnerships with manufacturers for one of the most important retail seasons of the year.”

Rohit Kedia, Baazar Style Retail Ltd. (Style Bazaar), Kolkata, said:

Pankaj Mirchandani, G. Sachanand/Kalamandir, Indore, said:

Industry Leaders Attend

The inauguration was attended by Santosh Katariya, Rohit Munjal, Ankur Gadia, Anand Chokshi, Paresh Vora, Mukesh Jain, Dinesh Nandu, Rahul Mehta, members of the CMAI Managing Committee, and industry representatives.

Shuttle Services for Visitors

To facilitate visitor movement, CMAI has introduced shuttle services between NESCO and Goregaon Railway Station (East), NESCO and the MMRDA Grounds, Jio Garden Parking and the MMRDA Grounds, and between Hall 1 and Hall 2 at the MMRDA venue.

A dedicated BEST bus service is also operating between Bandra Railway Station (East) and the MMRDA Grounds. These transport services will be available on 13, 14 and 15 July.

According to CMAI, the National Garment Fair has completed 82 previous editions and continues to serve as a B2B platform for the Indian apparel industry.
