CMAI’s 83rd National Garment Fair Kidswear Edition to Feature Over 630 Brands in Mumbai

B2B sourcing event scheduled from 22–24 June 2026 at Bombay Exhibition Centre as India’s Kidswear market continues to expand
The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), the apex body of the Indian apparel industry, has announced the 83rd National Garment Fair (NGF) – Kidswear Edition, one of the country’s major B2B apparel sourcing events.
Scheduled from 22nd to 24th June 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (Nesco), Mumbai, the exhibition will serve as a sourcing platform for the Kidswear segment, bringing together manufacturers, brands, buyers, retailers, distributors, wholesalers, e-commerce companies and other stakeholders from across the apparel value chain.
The event will occupy more than 2.25 lakh sq. ft. of exhibition space and will feature over 630 Kidswear brands. Exhibitors will present collections across categories including infantwear, toddlers, juniors, occasion wear, casual wear, fashion apparel, accessories and allied products.
According to CMAI, the Kidswear apparel market in India is currently estimated at approximately US$ 22 billion (around INR 2 lakh crore). The segment recorded 8% growth over the previous year and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 9.4% through 2029.

The association noted that the market continues to be driven by factors such as rising disposable incomes, increasing brand awareness among parents, urbanisation, demand for quality apparel, preference for premium yet affordable products, and the growth of organised retail and e-commerce channels.
Brands participating in this edition include Blazo, Trend Domain, Mikke House, Ruff, Danaboi, Deal, DS Yuvraaj, Napoleon, Zeelmil Art, Teddy Bear Kingdom, Lemonmint, Leo N Babes, Little Bull, Blueberry, Ollypop, Peppermint, Zola, Charchit, Gusto, Little Kangaroos, Vitamins, Ethni'ks Neu-Ron, Toffyhouse and Tadpole, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, Santosh Katariya, President, CMAI, said: " Building on the remarkable success of its inaugural standalone edition at NGF last year, the Kidswear edition returns with greater scale and stronger industry interest, reflecting the growing importance of this growing segment in India's apparel market. The segment has emerged as one of the most dynamic categories within apparel supported by favourable demographics, rising consumer aspirations and increased demand for quality and branded apparel. NGF presents an apt platform for brands, manufacturers and MSMEs to expand their market reach. We are confident that this edition too will generate significant business opportunities and further strengthen India's position as a leading apparel sourcing destination."
Highlighting participation trends, Rohit Munjal, Chairman, CMAI Fair Sub-committee, said: " This year’s Kidswear edition has recorded a 10% increase in exhibitor participation over the previous edition, reflecting the growing confidence that brands and manufacturers place in NGF as a proven business platform. The strong exhibitor response, coupled with increasing buyer interest, underscores the fair’s relevance and value to the industry."
Commenting on registrations, Anand Chokshi, Joint Chairman, Fair Sub-committee, CMAI, added: "We are encouraged by the current 20% increase in buyer registrations over last year. This strong response will continue till the fair which underscores the growing demand in one of the fastest-growing categories of the apparel market."
CMAI stated that the National Garment Fair has, over the years, served as a B2B platform connecting stakeholders across the apparel value chain and facilitating business interactions, sourcing opportunities, retail expansion and industry networking.
