Circulose has announced its partnership with Mango as the first Scaling Partner following its operational restart, a significant step toward boosting the global adoption of circular materials within the fashion industry.

This collaboration underscores a major milestone in Mango’s sustainability journey, aligning with the brand’s long-term vision of adopting a circular model and reducing its overall environmental impact. The partnership highlights Mango’s intention to shift a substantial portion of its man-made cellulosic fiber (MMCF) usage to fibers made from CIRCULOSE®.

CIRCULOSE® is a regenerated fiber material made entirely from discarded textiles, allowing fashion brands to reduce their dependency on virgin materials while maintaining product quality and design standards.

Jonatan Janmark, CEO of Circulose, commented:

“We’re proud to partner with the forward-thinking brand Mango and support their high ambitions in circularity. Their strong commitment brings us one step closer to restarting the factory and sets a powerful example for the industry. We hope it will inspire other brands to follow their lead.”

Andrés Fernández, Sustainability and Sourcing Director at Mango, added:

“We’re proud to be the first brand to partner in Circulose’s new phase and look forward to working closely together to advance our shared circularity goal. This collaboration marks a significant step on our sustainability roadmap as we strive to exclusively use fibres with lower environmental impact by 2030 and reflects our commitment to fostering a more circular and responsible fashion ecosystem, where innovation and environmental stewardship go hand in hand.”

This partnership forms part of Circulose’s updated commercial strategy, which aims to foster deeper brand collaborations, introduce a new pricing model, and provide expanded implementation support.

The innovative pricing model, co-developed with Fashion for Good and Canopy as part of a shared initiative to scale next-generation materials, mandates a licensing structure for brands to access CIRCULOSE®. The model is specifically designed to eliminate pricing barriers and promote broader industry adoption—shifting from limited capsule collections to widespread use.

The license includes robust services to aid brands in large-scale adoption, including transition planning, supply chain orchestration, and traceability support.

With this partnership, Circulose and Mango signal that circular fashion at scale is no longer a concept—it's within reach. For information about licensing CIRCULOSE®, interested brands are encouraged to connect directly.
