CIRCULOSE®, the next-generation material made entirely from discarded textiles, has partnered with TextileGenesis, a Lectra company, to integrate full supply chain traceability into its solution for fashion brands.

Through this collaboration, every kilo of CIRCULOSE® pulp will be digitally tracked from pulp to finished garment, with a joint ambition to expand traceability further upstream. This ensures brands gain verified, data-backed insights to support sustainability claims, enhance consumer trust, and prepare for regulatory compliance.

“As the industry transitions to preferred and circular materials, strong traceability is essential to uphold the integrity of sustainability claims,” said Jonatan Janmark, CEO of Circulose. “By embedding TextileGenesis into our solutions, we make traceability straightforward for all brands using CIRCULOSE®.”

The system leverages TextileGenesis’ Fibercoin™ technology, which assigns each unit of CIRCULOSE® a unique digital token. Every transformation in the supply chain is logged, preventing double-counting and ensuring a secure, real-time chain of custody.

“TextileGenesis allows brands and producers to digitally map CIRCULOSE® flows with full transparency,” added Amit Gautam, Founder and CEO of TextileGenesis. “This proves traceability is not a future ambition but a present-day reality.”

The partnership reflects Circulose’s broader vision of being a comprehensive solution provider rather than only a pulp producer. Traceability is now introduced as the fourth solution within the CIRCULOSE® Forward platform, alongside existing offerings. When combined with Circulose’s licensing-based pricing model, this makes it easier for brands to scale from virgin fibers to circular, traceable alternatives.

Both companies aim to strengthen the textile industry’s shift toward circularity by ensuring every fiber’s journey can be tracked securely, from waste to wardrobe.
