Cinte Techtextil China 2026 to Spotlight Asia-Pacific Nonwovens Innovation and Industry Collaboration

New Association Village, technical conferences and specialised display areas to strengthen business networking and knowledge exchange across the technical textiles and nonwovens industry.

Cinte Techtextil China 2026 will feature a focused line-up of nonwovens exhibitors serving protective and industrial applications, reflecting growing demand across the Asia-Pacific technical textiles market. Scheduled from 1 – 3 September 2026, the exhibition will also introduce the Association Village and a series of technical conferences, seminars and guided tours aimed at expanding industry collaboration and market insights.

Cinte Techtextil China 2026 will bring together exhibitors specialising in nonwovens for protective and industrial applications, alongside companies representing other high-demand technical textile sectors. To strengthen networking opportunities, the exhibition will introduce the Association Village, providing a platform for international industry associations to showcase their work and facilitate collaboration. The event will also feature a comprehensive fringe programme, including the China International Nonwovens Conference (CINC), the Mobiltech Display Area, and guided exhibition tours covering Medtech & Protech, sustainability and other application areas.

The event comes as both the protective textiles and industrial textiles markets continue to expand globally. According to Research and Markets, the global Protech sector is projected to reach USD 7.4 billion by 2032, supported by a CAGR of 7.16%, while Verified Market Reports forecasts the global Indutech market to reach USD 30.1 billion by 2033 with a CAGR of 5.5%.

Asia-Pacific continues to play a significant role in this growth, supported by established supply chains, infrastructure development and industrialisation. Speaking at last year's exhibition, Mr Oliver Vogel, Sales Manager of Dr. Karl Wetekam & Co. KG, said:

“The main reason we’re attending Cinte Techtextil China for the first time is that we would like to expand our business across Asia, particularly in China. We are planning to set up a new plant in Asia to serve Asian customers in a far better way than we we’re able to do from Germany. The potential markets in China and Asia are huge – which is why we are going to set up a plant on this continent.”

Reflecting regional industry participation, the exhibition will feature exhibitors from China, India, Japan and other countries.

The China International Nonwovens Conference (CINC) will return under the theme "Redefine the growth paradigm", featuring presentations on global industry developments and discussions related to nonwovens development during China's 15th Five-Year Plan period.
