Cinte Techtextil China 2026 Concludes with 300+ Exhibitors and Nearly 19,000 Visits

The Shanghai trade fair brought together exhibitors from 15 countries and regions, international buyers and industry stakeholders across 32,000 sqm of exhibition space.
Cinte Techtextil China 2026 concluded in Shanghai on 2026, bringing together more than 300 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions across 32,000 sqm. The edition recorded nearly 19,000 visits from an international audience representing 86 markets, with exhibitors and buyers engaging across technical textile and nonwoven applications.
Cinte Techtextil China 2026 Brings Global Technical Textile Industry Together
Cinte Techtextil China 2026 concluded after three days of business meetings, product showcases and industry discussions covering technical textiles and nonwovens.
The fair focused on application areas including automotive, medical & protective and industrial, while its programme also addressed sustainability, innovation and developments across the technical textile supply chain.
The international exhibitor base included companies from Bangladesh, India, Singapore, Thailand and Türkiye, alongside participants from Asia, Europe and North America.
The European and German Zones featured companies including Graf + Cie from Switzerland, covering Medtech and Geotech; Ibena from Germany for Protech; Mahlo from Germany across all applications; Monosuisse Group from Switzerland for Indutech and Mobiltech; and Reifenhauser Group from Germany across all applications.
First-time participant Tepar Tekstil from Türkiye presented its DURAFILTM fabric for Sporttech.
Other European exhibitors included A.CELLI from Italy, Andritz from France, Groz-Beckert from Germany and Picanol from Belgium, showcasing machinery, digital technologies and nonwoven production solutions.
New Materials and Technologies on Display
Product developments featured across the exhibition included Cu-TOP from Japan’s Nippon Paper Industries, a paper textile material combining pulp technology with copper functionality.
US-based Wintriss Engineering demonstrated Web Ranger online, an AI-incorporated surface defect inspection system.
Korea’s JR Ltd presented deodorant fibre.
New participants included Care Holdings from Singapore for Geotech and Buildtech, IMAE Industries from Japan for Indutech and Texbond Nonwovens from India for Buildtech and Packtech. Exhibitors also participated in the Textile Chemicals and Dyes Zone.
China’s technical textile capabilities were represented through the Mobiltech Zone, domestic pavilions and exhibitors including Shanghai Shenda and Tiandingfeng Nonwovens.
The Association Village hosted four organisations from India, Thailand and the UK, supporting international networking and industry exchange.

Exhibitors Report Business and Market Engagement

Buyer participation included representatives from Bangladesh, Colombia, Cuba, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Pakistan and Thailand, among other markets.
More than 80 VIP buyers from 27 countries and regions, along with high-profile domestic buyers, sourced products and technologies at the fair. Some buyers also used business matching services to identify offerings for specific end uses.

Sourcing activity across the exhibition included sustainability and functional protection requirements.
Visitors Assess Technologies and Sourcing Opportunities
Mr Jiraphat Punyachodtumrong, Procurement Manager, Silver Sport International Co Ltd, Thailand, said, “I travelled here to source garment production equipment, fabrics, and accessories, while exploring medical product partnerships. I’ve collected several samples and detailed price quotes for further discussions. I’m particularly interested in the new nonwoven machinery on display – overall, the quality is high. The fair has provided concrete matchmaking for overseas buyers like us, enabling focused, highly efficient discussions tailored to our needs.”

Fringe Programme Addresses Industry Development
The event’s fringe programme included panels, conferences, guided tours and display areas covering developments in technical textiles and nonwovens.
Sessions examined smart and sustainable solutions, innovations and changes across the global supply chain. The programme included sessions from the Asia International Hemp Federation, automotive textile panels and the 2026 Nonwovens Industry High-Quality Development Conference.
At the nonwovens conference, Ms Li Guimei, Chairperson of the China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association, identified several development drivers for the sector: technological innovation for high-end breakthroughs, green transformation, AI to cultivate new operating models, deeper application integration and optimised industrial structures for high-value growth.
The discussions also included the use of heritage materials as part of sustainable innovation.
Ms Sharon Deidre Leyson, Secretary-General, Asia International Hemp Federation, Thailand, who moderated the panel Industrial Hemp Fibre – Building the Future of Sustainable Materials and exhibited at the Association Village, said, “Industrial hemp has much to offer society, and is a key material for the future. Cinte Techtextil China is a good platform for us to communicate with the world, as it focuses on the technical side and sustainability. Our panel discussion audience responded very well and our display area received great feedback. These both gave us more exposure and drove diverse global traffic to our booth at the Association Village, a feature which facilitated international collaboration.”
Next Edition Scheduled for 2027
Cinte Techtextil China covers 12 application areas, spanning uses across technical textiles and nonwovens as well as the wider supply chain, including upstream technology and raw materials, finished fabrics, chemicals and other solutions.
The next edition of Cinte Techtextil China will be held from 31 August to 2 September 2027.
The fair is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd; the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; and the China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association (CNITA).
