Cinte Techtextil China 2025: Innovation & Global Opportunities

After three days of fostering meaningful exchanges across multiple applications of technical textiles and nonwovens, Cinte Techtextil China 2025 successfully concluded on 5 September at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Exhibitors and buyers, especially newcomers, praised the fair as a dynamic platform creating fresh opportunities both in China and globally. The event drew nearly 20,000 visitors from 74 countries and regions, marking a 17% increase over last year. With the most extensive product range in the fair’s history, attendees had a rich variety of innovations to explore. Key fringe events—including the China International Nonwovens Conference (CINC), Econogy Tour, Sustainability Forum, and AI Panel—linked innovation with sustainability, enhancing business prospects for participants.
Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, highlighted the fair’s unique strengths: “Cinte Techtextil China features highly functional, specialized, and advanced products and technologies. By integrating innovation and sustainability with growth opportunities, this edition’s new product categories and expanded fringe program energized the event. Chance encounters drove business connections, and we are proud to have facilitated these interactions while reinforcing industry confidence.”
As Asia’s only comprehensive exhibition for technical textiles and nonwovens, Cinte Techtextil China 2025 hosted over 300 global exhibitors and welcomed a diverse audience, including sourcing decision-makers, engineers, researchers, and product developers. Pre-registrations rose significantly, with international visitors increasing by over 40% compared to the previous edition. VIP delegations from 14 countries totaling more than 250 participants attended. Prominent brands included Kimberly-Clark (China), Li Auto, Li Ning, L’Oréal (China), Lego System (Denmark), Norafin Industries (Germany), Rockline Industries (USA), and Toyoshima & Co. Ltd (Japan), creating new opportunities for both returning and first-time exhibitors across Halls W3–W5.
Returning international exhibitors included AUTEFA Solutions, Lindauer DORNIER, Rowa Group (Germany), Fil Man Made Group (Italy), Graf + Cie, Swisstulle (Switzerland), and Picanol (Belgium). New participants, partly due to the addition of textile chemicals and dyes, included Serel Industrie (Belgium), Proton Products (UK), Wetekam Group (Germany), Dupre Minerals (UK), Michelman (USA), Huamao (Xiamen), BW Advanced Materials, Shanghai Shenda, Zhejiang Kingsafe Group (China), JCT Industries Group (Malaysia), and Vietnam Geotextile (Vietnam).
To facilitate interaction, the fair offered specialized development areas and fringe events. The Econogy Tour and Sustainability Forum promoted eco-conscious practices, sparking cross-sector dialogue, while the AI Panel and Innovation Product Award provided insights into future industry trends. CINC’s theme, Breaking the Deadlock and Reconstruction, delivered in-depth discussions for the nonwovens sector. The Technical Innovation Exchange Conference on Automotive Textiles and live-streamed tours for Medtech, Mobiltech, and Protech sectors further strengthened the fair’s reach.
