CHIC Shanghai – China International Fashion Fair will hold its spring edition from March 11 to 13, 2026, at the National Exhibition & Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai. The event will bring together 1,091 exhibitors presenting 1,135 brands from eight countries and regions: Italy, Germany, France, Japan, Korea, Australia, India and Hong Kong. The exhibition will occupy a total area of 117,200 square meters.

The fair is expected to attract more than 160,000 professional visitors, including buyers, retailers and industry representatives. CHIC serves as a platform for business transactions in the Chinese market and also functions as a meeting point for international cooperation and the global expansion of Chinese brands.

Among the visitors are buyers from major Chinese retail platforms and retail groups, including JD.com, Douyin and SHEIN. Representatives from department stores and retail groups such as Beijing SKP are also expected to attend. The visitor profile also includes buyers and brand representatives from fashion companies including Aimer, Urban Revivo, Fabrique, CHUU, and UOOYAA.

The exhibition is organised into multiple themed segments that represent different areas of the fashion industry.

In Hall 1.1, the CHIC Women’s segment will present womenswear collections ranging from commercial fashion to designer labels aimed at retailers and digital platforms seeking brands for the Chinese market. The Chinese Style segment in the same hall focuses on contemporary designs inspired by traditional Chinese elements, integrating historical silhouettes, textile techniques and cultural motifs into modern fashion concepts.

Hall 2.1 will include several product categories with strong commercial demand. The CHIC Winter’s segment will focus on outerwear, knitwear and seasonal collections. CHIC Accessories and Bags & Shoes will showcase leather goods, handbags, footwear and fashion accessories. The CHIC Matching format will provide a platform for direct connections between brands, buyers and distributors.

Hall 3 will feature lifestyle and specialty fashion segments. Outdoor & Sports will highlight functional apparel and active lifestyle products. Denim World will focus on developments in denim materials and production methods. CHIC KIDZ will present children’s and youth fashion collections. The Digital Fashion segment will explore technological developments including virtual fashion, digital design processes and new retail technologies.

The international exhibition area, CHIC Worldwide, will host brands seeking distribution partners in the Chinese market. Participants include PNG and DA&CO from Korea, AURA from India, and Threadheads from Australia. The Italian Pavilion will feature twelve exhibitors, including brands such as Anneclaire, Cinzia Caldi, Pango 1974, The Ways to Be, Delba, Vizio, Franco Giazzi, Blanca Luz, Karma, and Martin Alvarez.

Hall 4.1 will focus on menswear and emerging fashion concepts. The CHIC Men’s segment will present business, casual and lifestyle menswear collections. CHIC Impulses will feature emerging designers, new brands and creative concepts. The hall will also host the CHIC SHOW, where selected brands will present their collections through fashion presentations.

In the North Hall, CHIC Young Blood will focus on streetwear brands, new lifestyle labels and young designers. The area is aimed at retailers, concept stores and fashion platforms looking for new creative concepts.

Several brands will participate in the spring edition. CANOTWAIT_, a high-street label founded in 2020 by actor William Chan, combines street culture, art and outdoor influences in its designs. RUNXI, a manufacturer of knitted women’s foundation wear with more than twenty years of experience, integrates textile innovation with digital production and an international design team based in Seoul. Fabrique, founded in 2019 by Natalie Wang and Jing Lin, operates as a global designer collective and has recently launched its platform in the United States while expanding across Asia. Jewelry brand JCJ will present fashion jewelry collections and currently operates stores in several Chinese retail locations.

The menswear brand Shanshan will return to CHIC after a two-year absence. The company was founded in Ningbo in 1989 and became the first Chinese menswear brand listed on the A-share market in 1996.

Alongside the exhibition, CHIC will organise several industry events and networking formats. The program includes five CHIC Shows, including a joint runway presentation by Italian exhibitors from CHIC Worldwide and presentations by international brands including Saga Furs. Six CHIC Matching events will connect 134 invited buyers with participating brands, including representatives from Urban Revivo, CHUU and Fabrique. The program will also feature ten CHIC Talk sessions addressing developments in the global fashion industry.

One of the scheduled discussions will take place on March 12 from 14:00 to 14:45. The session, titled “A New Global Coordinate — Chinese Brands Going Global and Engaging with the World,” will examine the international expansion of Chinese fashion brands. Participants will include Zhang Dachuan, Co-founder and Chief Content Officer, WWD China; Zhang Zhengcai, Executive Vice President, President’s Office, Fung Group China; and Cheng Youting, Chief Operating Officer China & Asia Pacific, Istituto Marangoni.

China’s fashion sector remains one of the largest global markets for textiles, apparel and fashion retail. The domestic consumer market continues to develop, with increased focus on brand identity, design and lifestyle positioning. At the same time, more Chinese brands are expanding into international markets.

CHIC Shanghai provides a platform connecting Chinese companies, international brands and distribution partners. The fair combines exhibition segments, industry discussions and networking formats focused on the fashion sector.

The next edition of the event, CHIC Autumn, is scheduled to take place from August 25 to 27, 2026, at the National Exhibition & Convention Center in Shanghai.
