Catalyst Club Debuts in Florence to Foster Collaboration Across the Fashion and Textile Industry

First gathering at Soko Innovation Hub brings together industry professionals to encourage collaboration, innovation and knowledge exchange.

Catalyst Club launched its first chapter in Florence, convening professionals from across the fashion and textile sector, including creative directors, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, journalists, and innovators, for discussions and industry networking.

Hosted at the Soko Innovation Hub and organised in partnership with Pioneer Denim, the event was structured around a single long table, creating an informal environment designed to encourage discussion, exchange of ideas and professional connections.

Opening the evening, Matteo Urbini, MD of Soko Chimica, welcomed participants and said:

"It’s a real pleasure to host an evening where we can finally move past virtual networking and connect in person. Getting together live is still the best way to build authentic relationships and make real things happen."

The gathering was intentionally held without presentations, panel discussions or a formal agenda. Instead, participants engaged in conversations covering topics such as sustainability, creativity, manufacturing and innovation.

According to the organisers, the discussions also introduced the purpose of Catalyst Club, which aims to create a community that brings together professionals involved in shaping the future of fashion, denim and innovation through dialogue, knowledge exchange and shared ideas.

The inaugural chapter was supported by Pioneer Denim, whose participation reflected the collaborative approach promoted by the initiative.

The organisers stated that the Florence event marks the beginning of a broader series of Catalyst Club gatherings intended to expand the network of professionals participating in future editions.
