Call for Innovations: CO₂ Utilisation Award 2026 Opens

The CO₂-based Fuels and Chemicals Conference 2026 has opened submissions for its prestigious “Best CO₂ Utilisation” Innovation Award, inviting global innovators to showcase cutting-edge CCU and Power-to-X technologies supporting a circular carbon economy.

Innovators in Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) and Power-to-X technologies are invited to submit pioneering solutions for the renowned “Best CO₂ Utilisation” Innovation Award, which will be presented at the CO₂-based Fuels and Chemicals Conference scheduled for 28–29 April 2026 in Cologne, Germany, and online. Recognized as a leading international platform, the event consistently gathers more than 230 participants from industry, research, and policymaking, offering a significant opportunity to showcase advancements that contribute to a sustainable and circular carbon economy.

The conference will once again spotlight the long-standing “Best CO₂ Utilisation” Innovation Award, honouring outstanding achievements in CCU. The award is jointly organised by the nova-Institute and CO₂ Value Europe, with sponsorship from Yncoris. Previously recognised innovations have encompassed CO₂ capture systems, advanced polymers, sustainable building materials, textile fibres, synthetic fuels, nutritional supplements, cosmetics, and personal care products.
