Barry-Wehmiller consolidates BW Flexible Systems, BW Filling & Closing, and BW Integrated Systems under one unified BW Packaging organization.

BW Packaging has transitioned into a single unified organization, combining its divisions to deliver more integrated, collaborative, and innovative packaging solutions worldwide.

BW Packaging, the packaging machinery business of Barry-Wehmiller, has officially announced its transition into a single, unified organization under the BW Packaging brand. This marks the consolidation of its three business divisions — BW Flexible Systems, BW Filling & Closing, and BW Integrated Systems — into one cohesive, product-focused structure.

The new organization brings together BW Packaging’s global workforce, technology, and service expertise to enhance its ability to design, deliver, and support fully integrated packaging systems while providing long-term aftermarket care to its customers worldwide.

“We couldn’t be more excited about what this transformation means for our team members, customers and industry partners,” said Rachana Creeth, President of BW Packaging. “By operating as one unified organization, we can address complex customer challenges with integrated packaging solutions and continue delivering on our core Barry-Wehmiller values.”

The restructuring allows BW Packaging to strengthen collaboration among its 2,000+ employees across regions and improve responsiveness to global customer needs.

“Our collective expertise and shared commitment mean customers can expect more agile support and forward-thinking solutions,” said Denning Saum, Chief Product and Marketing Officer. “Wherever our customers are, we’re dedicated to offering them a seamless and elevated experience.”

All existing customer contracts and purchase orders remain valid without any operational disruption, ensuring continuity of business. Any future structural or legal adjustments that could affect customers or suppliers will be communicated in advance.

“Our customers can feel confident that their current agreements and daily operations will continue seamlessly as we move forward,” added Matt Venezia, Chief Commercial Officer. “Our top priority is ensuring smooth, transparent transitions at every step.”

The senior leadership team, led by Creeth, includes Pete Carlson (COO), Eric Collier (Chief Automation & Integration Officer), Heath Eckert (CFO & Administration Officer), Geoff Nykin (Chief Strategy & Enablement Officer), and Greg Wolf (Chief Strategic Initiatives Officer). Since announcing this internal transformation in June, over 150 team members have been appointed to leadership positions, guiding BW Packaging toward its goal of becoming a trusted global packaging partner and advisor.

Founded in 2016, BW Packaging has served as the connective platform between Barry-Wehmiller’s acquired packaging businesses. Now unified, it aims to strengthen product development and customer support for its extensive portfolio of brands, including Ambec, Angelus, Arcil, Burt, Continental/Closetech, Dairy Pack, Fleetwood, Goldco, Harland, Hayssen, Hema, Mateer, Nigrelli, Pneumatic Scale, Sleevit, SWF, SYMACH, Thiele, Trine, and Zepf Solutions.
