The company to debut its new digital spray dyeing innovation at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 in Singapore.

BW Converting will showcase its new Baldwin TexChroma™ digital spray dyeing system at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025, offering sustainable, high-efficiency dyeing with reduced energy and chemical use.

BW Converting is set to unveil its latest innovation — the Baldwin TexChroma™ digital spray dyeing system — at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025, taking place in Singapore from October 28–31, 2025. This next-generation technology expands on the proven success of the company’s Baldwin TexCoat® G4 precision spray finishing system, offering dyehouses an opportunity to significantly lower energy, water, and chemical consumption while boosting overall productivity, consistency, and profitability.

“We are excited to introduce Baldwin TexChroma because spray dyeing is the future and many of our customers are already experiencing the benefits,” said Yiannis Vasilonikolos, Global Sales Leader for Textiles, BW Converting. “We have conducted successful trials of TexChroma using pigment, reactive, acid, and disperse dyes on both cotton and synthetic fibers.”

Initial production data reveals that TexChroma achieves over 30% savings in energy, dyes, and chemicals when compared to continuous pad batch dyeing, and up to 50% savings versus exhaust reactive dyeing. The system’s unique design allows for real-time mixing of reactive dyestuffs and alkali fixation chemicals just seconds before application — effectively eliminating tailing and listing, two common problems that cause uneven coloration in conventional dyeing.

Following the widespread success of the Baldwin TexCoat® G4 — which has already delivered up to 50% reductions in water and chemical use and 40–50% energy savings across global installations — the launch of TexChroma represents BW Converting’s next major step toward digital, sustainable dyeing solutions.

“We believe TexChroma will be a game-changer for dyehouses, reducing costly rework and delivering the consistency this market has long been waiting for,” said Rick Stanford, Vice President of Global Business Development for Textiles, BW Converting. “The dyeing process is unforgiving, and we’ve taken a careful, deliberate approach to get it right. The market has been ready for some time, and now, so are we.”

Visitors can experience TexChroma™ and BW Converting’s latest textile finishing innovations at Hall 8, Stand B201 during ITMA Asia + CITME 2025, marking the event’s return to Singapore after more than two decades.
