BW Converting Highlights TexCoat G4 Sustainable Finishing Tech

Advancing eco-efficient textile finishing with precision spray technology at Techtextil India 2025.
At Techtextil India 2025, BW Converting and A.T.E. will spotlight TexCoat® G4, a precision spray finishing technology designed to cut chemical use, water consumption, and energy while enhancing quality for India’s fast-growing technical textile sector.
BW Converting, under its Baldwin brand, is set to highlight its sustainable textile finishing technologies at Techtextil India 2025, held from November 19–21 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The company will exhibit in partnership with its India representative, A.T.E. Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.
At the A.T.E. booth, BW Converting will feature its widely adopted TexCoat® G4 precision spray finishing system, enabling mills and processors to cut chemical waste, lower water consumption, and significantly reduce energy usage — all while improving fabric quality and maintaining superior process accuracy.
“India represents one of the most dynamic and promising textile markets in the world,” said Yiannis Vasilonikolos, Global Sales Leader, Textiles, BW Converting. “Through our collaboration with A.T.E., a respected and established leader in India’s textile engineering sector, we’re excited to discuss how TexCoat G4 can help local manufacturers achieve both sustainability and profitability in finishing operations.”
TexCoat G4 uses Precision Application Technology (PAT) to apply chemicals with pinpoint accuracy to one or both sides of the fabric, ensuring zero contamination, overspray, or dilution. The system eliminates traditional pad baths and reduces wet pick-up by up to 50%, enabling faster production speeds, consistent finishing, and significant resource savings.
“Technical textiles and home furnishings are growing segments in India, and mills are increasingly focused on operational efficiency and sustainability,” said Rick Stanford, Vice President of Global Business Development, Textiles, BW Converting. “Our precision spray technology delivers on both fronts, helping manufacturers optimize output, lower costs, and reduce their environmental impact.”
Building on the high precision and uniformity of its TexCoat® platform, BW Converting recently unveiled its TexChroma digital spray dyeing technology at ITMA Asia in Singapore, further expanding its sustainable textile processing portfolio. BW Converting’s India team and A.T.E. representatives will be present throughout Techtextil India 2025 to discuss how TexCoat® G4 and other advanced finishing innovations can support the country’s expanding technical textile industry.
