BW Converting has announced that its fault anomaly-based digital innovation initiative has been selected as one of the inaugural projects at the newly established Microsoft AI Co-Innovation Lab located on the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus. The project was developed by the Accelerate digital services team in collaboration with Barry-Wehmiller’s Digital Innovation division. This achievement highlights BW Converting’s expanding role within Wisconsin’s growing tech scene and represents a key advancement in their digital transformation journey, developed in partnership with TitletownTech — a venture formed by the Green Bay Packers and Microsoft.

Accelerate, BW Converting’s proprietary digital transformation platform, aims to enable customers to do more than just view machine data. By combining real-time dashboards with the expertise of specialized technicians, Accelerate delivers deeper understanding of machine data, empowering customers to reduce downtime, enhance efficiency, and improve long-term system performance.

Amber Stollfus, Director of Digital Services and Solutions at BW Converting, explained, “At BW Converting, it’s not just about seeing the numbers — it’s about understanding them. That’s the power of Accelerate.”

Since its launch in 2020, Accelerate has evolved as a dynamic, customer-first digital platform. The underlying development approach is continuous improvement: “Development should never stop.”

TitletownTech, as the operating partner of the Microsoft AI Co-Innovation Lab, assists companies in shaping and demonstrating the value of their AI-driven solutions. They provided BW Converting with the infrastructure, guidance, and support needed to successfully submit their project to Microsoft.

“TitletownTech has been instrumental in managing our communications with Microsoft and guiding us through essential processes,” said Stollfus. “They’ve acted as the bridge between our team and the broader tech ecosystem.”

The Microsoft AI Co-Innovation Lab offers hands-on collaboration with Microsoft engineers through rapid prototyping sessions, expediting innovation and time-to-market with cutting-edge AI technologies.

Stollfus emphasized, “We believe our enthusiasm and strong vision for what Accelerate can do played a major role in our selection for this engagement.”

Unlike typical dashboards, Accelerate integrates real-time machine data with expert human analysis, providing actionable insights for users. This unique blend of advanced technology and human support distinguished the project among other submissions.

As part of the partnership, BW Converting will engage in strategic meetings with TitletownTech’s leadership, aiming to strengthen innovation and extend AI-based development initiatives throughout Wisconsin. Ultimately, this collaboration will translate into measurable value for BW Converting’s customers.
