BW Converting, Archroma and Monforts to Showcase Precision Finishing Technology at IGATEX Pakistan 2026

Companies to present spray-finishing technology, textile chemistry and application-development support in Lahore
BW Converting, Archroma and Monforts will participate in IGATEX Pakistan 2026, scheduled from October 15 to 18 at the Expo Centre Lahore. The companies will showcase precision spray-finishing technology, textile chemistry and finishing equipment at Al-Ameen Trading Corporation’s Stand F-2-09 in Hall 2.
The companies will also discuss plans to install a BW Converting laboratory-scale spray-finishing unit at Archroma’s Pakistan laboratory, providing local application-development and testing capabilities for textile manufacturers.
Focus on Precision Spray Finishing
Visitors will be able to discuss fabric and finishing requirements with representatives from the three companies and explore potential applications of precision spray technology.
The planned laboratory capability in Pakistan is intended to support mills during application development. Larger-scale trials will also be available through Monforts’ Advanced Technology Center in Germany, allowing manufacturers to assess applications before considering production investments.
“Pakistan has become an important market for precision spray finishing because mills are looking very closely at productivity, energy consumption, chemical use and process control,” said Yiannis Vasilonikolos, Global Sales Leader for Textiles, BW Converting. “IGATEX gives us an opportunity to discuss those priorities with manufacturers alongside Archroma and Monforts. Together, we can help mills explore how chemistry, precision application and finishing equipment can work together to meet their production requirements.”
Baldwin TexCoat G4 Targets Controlled Chemical Application
BW Converting will showcase its Baldwin TexCoat® G4, which uses non-contact precision spray technology to apply controlled and uniform quantities of chemistry to one or both sides of a fabric.
The system is designed to reduce wet pick-up by applying only the required amount of chemistry. This can reduce the quantity of water that needs to be removed during drying.
According to BW Converting, the technology is designed to reduce water, energy and chemical consumption, while supporting higher production speeds and improved process control.
Combining Technology and Textile Chemistry
The collaboration brings together the respective capabilities of the three companies. BW Converting contributes precision application technology, Archroma provides textile chemistry and application expertise, while Monforts contributes dyeing and finishing equipment expertise.
The partnership is intended to support the evaluation of finishing formulations, application parameters and production conditions as textile mills assess alternative finishing processes.
“Application development is most effective when mills can work with technologies and chemistries under conditions that reflect their own production requirements,” said Jan Mohammad Khan, Segment Head Finishing, Archroma Pakistan. “By combining Archroma’s chemistry expertise with BW Converting’s precision spray technology, we can give customers in Pakistan a more direct way to explore new finishing approaches and assess the potential benefits for their own operations.”
Planned Laboratory Facility in Pakistan
Under the proposed laboratory arrangement, BW Converting will place a laboratory-scale spray-finishing unit at Archroma's Pakistan facility.
Archroma will use the equipment for application development and internal trials involving its textile chemistries. Customers and prospective users will also be able to test their own fabrics and finishing applications using precision spray technology.
Applications that demonstrate potential can subsequently move to larger-scale production trials at Monforts’ Advanced Technology Center in Germany. This approach is intended to connect local laboratory development with industrial-scale testing.
Monforts to Support Production-Scale Evaluation
The Advanced Technology Center will provide an opportunity for mills to examine the interaction between precision spray application, textile chemistry, fabric handling and thermal processing under production conditions.
“Moving a promising application from the laboratory to production means understanding how it performs across the finishing process,” said Manfred Havenith, Area Sales Manager, Monforts. “At our Advanced Technology Center, mills can explore how precision spray application and textile chemistry work together with fabric handling and thermal processing under production conditions. That opportunity complements the planned local capability at Archroma and helps manufacturers assess both the finished fabric and the production requirements behind it.”
Local Support Through Al-Ameen Trading Corporation
Al-Ameen Trading Corporation represents BW Converting, Archroma and Monforts in Pakistan. The company will provide a local point of connection for textile mills seeking technical support, application guidance and access to the three companies' technologies during IGATEX Pakistan 2026.
