Bombay Shirt Company Opens Chennai Flagship Store, Introduces ‘The Den’ Retail Concept

New 2,500 sq. ft. space combines menswear retail, café experience and custom clothing services in Chennai

Bombay Shirt Company (BSC) has expanded its retail presence with the opening of its flagship store in Chennai. The new outlet, branded as ‘The Den’, covers approximately 2,500 sq. ft. and has been designed as a multifunctional retail space intended to serve as a destination beyond conventional shopping.

According to the company, the concept is based on creating a “third space” where customers can shop, spend time, and engage with the brand in a relaxed setting. The store features an open layout, curated interiors and dedicated areas for apparel, hospitality and customer interaction.

A key feature of the new location is the BSC Café, developed in partnership with Chennai-based KUP Coffee Roasters. The café also includes a dedicated gelato bar and forms part of the overall in-store experience.

The Chennai flagship showcases Bombay Shirt Company’s custom-made and ready-to-wear menswear collections. Customers can access a range of fabrics sourced from international mills and receive assistance from style advisors. The store also houses an in-house tailoring team responsible for measurements and garment fitting.

In addition to custom clothing, the outlet offers a broader menswear range including shirts, trousers, chinos, denim, knitwear, tees, shorts, outerwear and seasonal collections. The company stated that new product drops will be introduced regularly.
