Bombay Dyeing has prevented an alleged counterfeit product sale in a residential housing society in Hyderabad, as part of its ongoing efforts to address the circulation of unauthorised products sold under its brand name. The company also reiterated its guidance for consumers to purchase products only through authorised sales channels.

Bombay Dyeing announced that it has stopped an alleged counterfeit sales event that was scheduled to take place in a residential housing society in Hyderabad.

According to the company, flyers had been distributed within the housing society promoting "Bombay Dyeing" bedsheets at heavily discounted prices, including "Buy 1 Get 2 Free" offers. After becoming aware of the promotion, Bombay Dyeing coordinated with the concerned housing society, resulting in the cancellation of the planned sale.

The company stated that it has observed an increase in counterfeit products being marketed through temporary exhibitions and residential society sales, where consumers may believe they are purchasing genuine Bombay Dyeing merchandise. According to the company, such products do not meet the quality and manufacturing standards associated with the brand.
