Bolt.Earth Honours 5,000+ EV Charging Technicians, Expands Skilled Workforce Across India

Company's Rewards & Recognition programme highlights the role of certified technicians in strengthening EV charging reliability while workforce grows from 800 in 2024 to over 5,000 in 2026.

Bolt.Earth has highlighted the contribution of its nationwide technician network through its first Rewards & Recognition programme, recognising the professionals responsible for maintaining and servicing EV charging infrastructure across the country.

The initiative acknowledged the work of certified technicians who respond to charger breakdowns, carry out repairs and ensure charging stations remain operational for EV users. According to the company, these technicians play a key role in maintaining the reliability of its charging network across urban and regional markets.

As part of the programme, 17 technicians representing 17 states were felicitated. The participating states included Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

Bolt.Earth stated that its technician network has expanded from 800 technicians in 2024 to more than 5,000 certified technicians in 2026, reflecting the company's growth in India's EV charging ecosystem. The workforce supports charger installation, maintenance and servicing across metropolitan cities as well as smaller towns.

Commenting on the initiative, Mohit Yadav, Founder and CEO, Bolt.Earth, said:

"Every charging point that stays online does so because a technician showed up to fix it. They are the reason a charger works when someone needs it, not just when it's installed. Every new charger we deploy is also a skilled job we're creating somewhere in India. Building a skilled workforce has been just as important to Bolt.Earth's growth as building chargers."

Among those recognised was Abdul Moin from Maharashtra, who has worked with Bolt.Earth for more than two years installing EV chargers for three-wheelers. According to the company, he has built a network of over 500 field technicians operating across Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.

Sharing his experience, Abdul Moin said:

Together, my team and I install around 3000 chargers per month; this is the kind of opportunity and demand we see. A lot of people often ask me if buying an EV was the right choice. I tell them it's a cleaner, greener alternative, and when they see the savings themselves, their perspective changes."

Bolt.Earth said technician recognition forms part of its broader strategy to strengthen the reliability of India's EV charging infrastructure as the country's electric mobility ecosystem continues to expand.
