B'Lao-Scavi Adopts Centric PLM to Accelerate Apparel Product Development

Centric Software® announced on March 04, 2026 that B'Lao-Scavi has gone live with Centric PLM™ as part of its efforts to strengthen digitalization and operational processes. Centric Software provides enterprise solutions designed to support product development from concept to commercialization across sectors including fashion, luxury, footwear, outdoor, home, cosmetics & personal care, and multi-category retail. These solutions help teams manage planning, design, development, sourcing, compliance, purchasing, manufacturing, pricing, allocation, assortment, sales, and replenishment.
B'Lao-Scavi is a global outsourcing provider for intimate apparel and activewear. The company was the first FDI organization in Vietnam with 100% of its capital invested from France in 1988. B'Lao-Scavi focuses on outsourcing services for lingerie, swimwear, sportswear and activewear, and maintains partnerships with international fashion brands across Europe, North America, Australia and Asia.
The company employs 20,000 people globally and operates multiple production facilities in Vietnam, France and Laos. These operations support an annual production capacity of more than 90 million pieces.
As an exporter serving more than 50 international fashion brands, B'Lao-Scavi identified a need for improved management of product and technical data as product complexity increased and the business expanded. The company sought a structured system to organize information across its design, development and sourcing teams.
“As our operations scaled, product and technical information was shared across spreadsheets, emails and multiple file versions,” says Quoc Nam Tran, IT Director at B'Lao-Scavi. “We saw an opportunity to bring this information together in a PLM system to improve data consistency and enable smoother collaboration across teams.”
Following a vendor evaluation process, B'Lao-Scavi selected Centric Software.
"We chose Centric Software among other PLM providers because they have deep expertise in the fashion and manufacturing industry. It is also aligned with how we innovate and optimize our product roadmap," explains Tran.
The first phase of implementation focused on establishing a centralized system for product and material data and standardizing the way specifications are created and shared. This step created a unified information source intended to improve transparency and coordination across teams.
"We needed to get the fundamentals right first, centralizing our material libraries and specifications in Centric PLM before layering on advanced capabilities," notes Quoc Tu Nguyen, Information Systems Director at B'Lao-Scavi.
In the next phase, the company plans to extend the use of Centric PLM across its value chain to connect internal teams, customers and suppliers through a single platform. The implementation will also include 3D design capabilities integrated into Centric PLM to support collaboration and decision-making during product development.
According to B'Lao-Scavi, digital transformation involves capturing all product information from design through final delivery.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Linh, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at B'Lao-Scavi, explains that every product has both a “body” and a “soul.” “The body is physical garment,” says Nguyen. “The soul is the technical product data. Before Centric PLM, this information was fragmented across countless spreadsheets. Now, Centric PLM ensures all technical product data lives and evolves with its product from initial concept through to the end consumer.”
Fabrice Canonge, CEO of Centric Software, commented on the implementation.
“We are delighted that B'Lao-Scavi, a pioneer in the apparel outsourcing industry, has chosen Centric Software to achieve their digitalization goals. With the successful implementation of Centric PLM, we are confident that B'Lao-Scavi will thrive now and into the future.”
