Bharat Recycling Show 2025 to Drive Green Innovation

Media Fusion and Crain Communications have announced the launch of Bharat Recycling Show 2025, set to become India’s largest trade event and conference focused on commodity recycling. Scheduled from November 13–15, 2025, at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai, the show will unite industry experts, policymakers, and innovators to explore breakthrough recycling technologies and sustainable waste management strategies.
The event will feature dedicated zones across critical verticals:
- Metals Recycling: Advancing recovery solutions for ferrous and non-ferrous metals to align with India’s circular economy goals.
- E-Scrap & Battery Recycling: Highlighting innovations for responsibly managing e-waste and reusing batteries in response to growing sectoral needs.
- Vehicle & Tyre Recycling: Promoting advanced practices in ELV (End-of-Life Vehicle) and tyre recycling to improve efficiency and environmental outcomes.
Co-located with the 2nd Plastics Recycling Show India, the 2025 edition aims to create synergy between sectors and deliver a holistic view of recycling innovation.
Mr. Taher Patrawala, Managing Director at Media Fusion, emphasized India’s USD 18.4 billion waste management market by 2030 and the need to boost recycling, given only 30% of recyclable waste is currently processed. He noted the event will be a pivotal venue for driving innovation, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable practices.
Bharat Recycling Show 2025 will showcase technologies spanning metals (ferrous and non-ferrous), e-waste, batteries, ELVs, tyres, paper, construction and demolition (C&D) debris, wood, and textiles. It will include solutions for iron, steel, aluminum, copper, zinc, brass, nickel, gold, and silver recovery, alongside developments in digital waste handling and sustainable textile repurposing.
The event has already received support from top associations like the India Lead Zinc Development Association (ILZDA) and MTLEXS. Key exhibitors include global and domestic leaders such as LAMACART, Forest Resources, and Power Hydrotech, who will present cutting-edge, localized recycling solutions.
Mr. Matthew Barber, Global Events Director at Crain Communications, noted that the show arrives at a crucial time for India’s recycling industry. Building on the success of the Plastics Recycling Show India, this expanded initiative will showcase cross-sector innovations and address policy and technology gaps critical to a sustainable future.
Alongside the exhibition, a high-level conference will delve into key topics like circular economy principles, packaging innovation, regulation, and new technologies. This platform will help bridge knowledge gaps, encourage dialogue, and promote scalable recycling solutions vital for India’s transition to a greener economy.
