Bharat Recycling Show 2025 to Boost Circular Economy

Media Fusion and Crain Communications will jointly organise the Bharat Recycling Show 2025, India’s largest trade fair and conference focusing on commodity recycling. Scheduled from November 13 to 15, 2025, at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai, the event will serve as a vital meeting point for industry experts, policymakers, and innovators to engage with cutting-edge recycling technologies and sustainable waste management practices.
This year, the event will be held alongside the 2nd edition of the Plastics Recycling Show India, enhancing cross-sector collaboration and offering a holistic view of the recycling ecosystem. This strategic co-location is aimed at fostering robust partnerships across industries and accelerating progress towards a circular economy.
Mr. Taher Patrawala, Managing Director of Media Fusion, stated:
“India’s waste management market is estimated to reach USD 18.40 billion by 2030, fueled by increasing waste and a strong shift towards circular economy principles. Yet, only 30% of recyclable waste is processed today, indicating a significant opportunity. Bharat Recycling Show 2025 will provide a transformative platform uniting various commodity segments, industry frontrunners, and policymakers to drive innovation, policy engagement, and sustainable solutions in India’s recycling landscape.”
The show will spotlight recycling advancements across a wide spectrum of commodities, including metals, electronic waste, batteries, end-of-life vehicles (ELVs), tyres, paper, construction and demolition (C&D) waste, wood, and textiles. The metals section will encompass both ferrous (iron, steel) and non-ferrous (aluminum, copper, zinc, lead, brass, nickel, gold, silver) materials. The E-Scrap zone will focus on new electronic waste management technologies, while battery recycling will explore eco-friendly disposal and repurposing methods.
Visitors will also experience innovations in ELV recycling, focusing on dismantling and reuse of vehicle parts, and tyre recycling, highlighting methods to reduce ecological harm. Other major highlights include breakthroughs in paper waste recycling, C&D waste repurposing, wood reuse, and sustainable solutions in textile recycling, all aimed at minimising environmental impact.
Several major industry associations are supporting the event, including the India Lead Zinc Development Association (ILZDA) and MTLEXS, underscoring its importance within the recycling sector. Participating exhibitors include well-known names such as LAMACART, Forest Resources, and Power Hydrotech, who will showcase innovative recycling technologies suited to the Indian context.
Mr. Matthew Barber, Global Events Director, Crain Communications, noted:
“The Bharat Recycling Show 2025 is launching at a key moment as India’s recycling industry accelerates nationally and globally. With the success of Plastics Recycling Show India, we believe this expanded event addressing all recyclable commodities is timely. It has been curated to unite essential stakeholders, present cutting-edge solutions, and promote policy and technology-driven dialogue, moving the industry toward a more sustainable waste management future.”
The event will also include a high-level conference tackling vital topics such as circular economy integration, sustainable packaging, regulatory landscapes, emerging technologies, and sectoral trends. This forum aims to bridge knowledge gaps, promote collaborative discussions, and fast-track the adoption of eco-conscious recycling methods—ultimately aiding India’s journey toward a more sustainable and circular waste management system.
