Benninger AG and Grupo NS Partner to Expand Textile Dyeing and Finishing Support in Brazil
Collaboration combines Benninger's textile wet processing technologies with Grupo NS's local market expertise and customer support network.
Benninger AG, Switzerland, and Grupo NS, Brazil, have entered into a collaboration aimed at providing textile manufacturers in Brazil with textile wet processing technologies, application expertise and local customer support.
According to the companies, the partnership combines Benninger's engineering experience in textile finishing and dyeing with Grupo NS's knowledge of the Brazilian textile industry, customer requirements and service infrastructure.
Supporting the Brazilian Textile Industry
Brazil remains one of the key textile markets in the Americas, where manufacturers require not only textile machinery but also process expertise, technical service, spare parts, training, automation support and long-term operational assistance.
Under the collaboration, Benninger will contribute its textile processing technologies and dyehouse expertise, while Grupo NS will provide local market access, technical support and customer service.

Commenting on the partnership, Rolf Erik Schoeler, Global Head of Sales and Marketing at Benninger AG, said:

Textile Wet Processing Portfolio
Benninger brings more than 160 years of experience in textile processing and offers technologies for both continuous and discontinuous wet processing.
Its portfolio includes solutions for:
- Singeing
- Preparation
- Washing
- Mercerising
- Cold Pad Batch
- Jet dyeing
- Jigger dyeing
These technologies are designed for woven, knitted and technical textiles.
According to the company, its approach integrates machinery, automation, chemical preparation and dosing, fabric handling and process control to support consistent production results across different fibres, blends and production batches.

The company states that this integrated process can contribute to:
- Shorter processing times
- Higher productivity
- Reduced reprocessing
- Greater production flexibility
- Lower consumption of water, energy and chemicals
Additional technologies such as heat recovery, water recycling and caustic recovery systems are also available to support resource management and operational efficiency.
Benninger also highlighted its SingeRay singeing technology, which is designed to provide a uniform fabric surface with reproducible process settings and efficient gas utilisation before dyeing and finishing operations.

Grupo NS brings several decades of experience in the Brazilian textile industry and provides technical consulting, customer support and local service capabilities.
