Bengaluru to Host Inaugural Textile Sourcing Week Alongside Apparel Sourcing Week

A new dedicated exhibition, Textile Sourcing Week (TSW), is set to launch this year, running concurrently with the fifth edition of Apparel Sourcing Week (ASW). Organisers announced that TSW will serve as a specialised platform for suppliers across the textile spectrum, encompassing fabrics, yarns, trims, and accessories. The debut of TSW is scheduled for July 2-3, 2025, at the Sheraton Grand in Whitefield, Bengaluru, directly alongside ASW. This new event aims to establish a focused environment for textile innovations, facilitating connections between material producers and sourcing professionals. The initiative is designed to cater to apparel companies across India and key international markets, including the UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Australia, the US, and the EU. More than 50 exhibitors are anticipated to showcase a wide array of textile products. This diverse display will include raw and finished fabrics, technical textiles, various types of yarns, and an extensive selection of trims and accessories. Industry projections suggest an attendance of over 2,000 vetted buyers, with a strong emphasis on fostering business-to-business engagements. A dedicated panel discussion focusing on the textile sector is also planned, aimed at addressing current industry challenges and highlighting recent developments. Collectively, ASW 2025 and the inaugural TSW are projected to feature over 150 apparel manufacturers and draw an audience of 8,000 buyers. The combined events will also feature a comprehensive program of over 25 educational sessions and workshops. Additionally, structured networking opportunities are planned to cultivate significant sourcing collaborations. Organisers envision TSW as a vital hub for textile sourcing in South Asia, responding to the evolving demands of global fashion supply chains.
