Bemberg™ to Debut Dedicated Exhibition Space at Milano Unica FW 2027/28

Fiber brand to present new fabric developments with Italian and European textile partners at Hall 1, Booth B16

Bemberg™ will exhibit for the first time with its own dedicated space at Milano Unica, the international trade fair for premium textiles and accessories, taking place from 7th to 9th July at Rho Fiera Milano. The brand will be located in Hall 1, Booth B16.

The exhibition will present the characteristics of Bemberg™ alongside the latest fabric innovations developed by its Italian and European textile partners for the Fall/Winter 2027/28 season.

Fiber produced from cotton linters

Bemberg™ is produced exclusively in Japan using cotton linters, a natural pre-consumer byproduct of cottonseed oil. According to the company, the fiber is manufactured through a traceable closed-loop process and represents approximately 0.01% of global fiber production.

The fiber's environmental credentials are supported by certifications including RCS, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, and ISO 14001. Bemberg™ is also biodegradable and compostable in soil, as confirmed by the INNOVHUB third-party test, and biodegradable in marine conditions according to MARINE certification by TÜV Austria.

Milano Unica to highlight partner collaborations

The company stated that Milano Unica provides an opportunity to increase brand visibility and strengthen its presence in the premium textile sector. The exhibition will also showcase collaborations with textile manufacturers from Italy and across Europe through fabric developments featuring Bemberg™.

Participating partners include Bardazzi, Brunello, Ezio Ghiringhelli, Gianni Crespi Foderami, Infinity, Jackytex, Lanificio Faliero Sarti, Manifattura Pezzetti, Matias & Araújo, Nalya, Sidónios, SMI Tessuti, Staff Jersey, TBM, Teseo Como, Tessitura Luigi Uboldi and Tessitura Marco Pastorelli.

Exhibition highlights

One of the main attractions at the stand will be the Bemberg™ Fabric Library FW 2027/28, featuring fabrics developed with partner mills.

The event will also include the traditional gathering organised by Infinity in collaboration with Bemberg™ for the third consecutive year. The networking event will take place on 8 July at 4:00 PM at the Infinity stand (Hall 7, Booth C01–03) and will conclude with an end-of-day cocktail.

First independent appearance follows production recovery

The Milano Unica participation follows the reconstruction of Bemberg™'s production facility in Japan after a fire that temporarily affected operations.

According to the company, the recovery has supported its continued focus on innovation, partnership development and international market expansion, making its first independent exhibition at Milano Unica a significant milestone.

Fiber applications across multiple sectors

Bemberg™ is designed for applications including fashion fabrics, linings, activewear, intimate apparel and home textiles. The company states that the fiber offers a soft touch, elegant appearance, fluid drape, natural luminosity and moisture-management properties.

Through its debut at Milano Unica, Bemberg™ will showcase its fiber developments while continuing collaborations with textile manufacturers across Europe.
