Bemberg™ presents Spring/Summer 2027 material direction focused on comfort and sensoriality

For Spring/Summer 2027, Bemberg™ by Asahi Kasei is positioned in line with seasonal directions focused on essential design, tactile comfort, and everyday wearability. The fiber is presented across apparel, linings, activewear, intimates, and home textiles, emphasizing touch, drape, and moisture management. Developments are showcased through collections created by Bemberg™’s European partner network.
Bemberg™ is a regenerated fiber produced in Japan from cotton linters, a byproduct of cottonseed oil, using a traceable closed-loop manufacturing process. It represents approximately 0.02% of global fiber production and carries certifications including RCS, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and ISO 14001. The fiber is biodegradable and compostable in soil, as confirmed by INNOVHUB third-party testing, and marine biodegradable under TÜV Austria certification.
For the Spring/Summer 2027 season, Bemberg™ is interpreted through multiple fabric and yarn developments by partner companies across Europe. These collections focus on applications including jerseywear, linings, jacquards, knits, shirting, and outerwear fabrics, and will be presented at international textile fairs including Milano Unica, Première Vision Paris, Munich Fabric Start, Pitti Filati, Interfilière Paris, and other global exhibitions.
