BASF has confirmed a price adjustment of up to $100 per metric ton for butyl acrylate (BA) and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA) across the Asia-Pacific market. The revised pricing will apply immediately, or in line with the terms of existing contracts.

According to the company, the increase is intended to support its ongoing operations as production and supply chains face rising costs. BASF cited continued increases in logistics, energy, and regulatory compliance expenses as key factors contributing to higher overall operating costs.

Butyl acrylate and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate are widely used as raw materials in several downstream sectors. These include the manufacture of adhesives, architectural and industrial coatings, as well as construction-related materials.

BASF stated that it will continue supplying these materials to customers across the Asia-Pacific region while maintaining product quality and service standards.
