Barmag Hosts Fuzhou Customer Day to Showcase Integrated Solutions for Chemical Fiber Industry
Event brings together customers from Fujian and Guangdong to discuss innovation, technology and sustainable development across the man-made fiber value chain
Barmag hosted its Customer Day under the theme “A New Era. Powered by Innovation.” in Fuzhou on June 28, bringing together nearly 100 invited customers from Fujian and Guangdong provinces. The event featured integrated solutions spanning the entire man-made fiber value chain and focused on collaboration with regional customers.
Barmag organised its Customer Day in Fuzhou on June 28 under the theme “A New Era. Powered by Innovation.” The event welcomed nearly 100 invited customers from Fujian and Guangdong, two of China's major polyamide manufacturing hubs.
The programme served as a platform for customers and the company to discuss strategic cooperation and developments related to the high-end and sustainable transformation of chemical fiber production.
The event was attended by Georg Stausberg, CEO of Barmag; Jochen Adler, CTO of Barmag; and Dr. Wolfgang Ernst, CSO of Barmag, along with teams based in Beijing, Suzhou, Shanghai and Yangzhou. Representatives from the company's management, sales, project execution and after-sales service divisions also participated.
Representatives from SSM and Temco, sister brands within the Rieter Group, attended the event as "new colleagues." According to the company, their participation reflects Rieter's strategy following its acquisition of Barmag to develop integrated solutions across the textile value chain.
During the event, specialists from the Sales, Project and Service divisions presented technical solutions covering the complete process from melt to yarn, outlining Barmag's integrated service capabilities for the man-made fiber industry.
In the afternoon session, participants visited the production facility of Fujian Eversun Jinjiang. According to the company, Eversun Jinjiang is Barmag's largest polyamide customer worldwide and one of its strategic partners.
Barmag stated that customer orientation remains a core principle of its operations, with sustainability integrated into its technology research and development activities. The company also noted that it will continue utilising its global R&D network, local service infrastructure and technical expertise to support customers.
