ASPA MEA Open House 2025 Fosters Regional Unity in Anti-Counterfeiting Drive

The Authentication Solution Providers’ Association (ASPA) successfully concluded its MEA Open House on April 24, 2025, at Anantara Downtown Dubai, reinforcing its commitment to regional collaboration in combating counterfeiting. The event saw participation from 46 delegates representing 17 companies involved in authentication, packaging, and brand protection, marking a vital step in ASPA’s global outreach, especially in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
Moderated by packaging and sustainability expert Mr. Kaunain Shahidi, the program opened with ASPA President Mr. Manoj Kochar introducing ASPA’s core objectives, with a strong emphasis on the growing importance of authentication and traceability to protect consumers and businesses.

Reflecting strong regional engagement, 11 companies expressed interest in becoming members of ASPA — showcasing the urgency and demand for coordinated anti-counterfeiting efforts.
Mr. Ankit Gupta, ASPA Vice President, wrapped up the formal proceedings with a thank-you address acknowledging all participants for their involvement and encouragement. The event concluded with a networking dinner and cocktails, promoting peer engagement and future collaboration.
