The evening featured a well-curated agenda led by moderator Mr. Kaunain Shahidi, a noted expert in packaging and sustainability. ASPA President Mr. Manoj Kochar opened the session by outlining ASPA’s mission to protect products and consumers through advanced authentication and traceability technologies.

A keynote address by Mr. Ranesh Bajaj, ASPA Governing Body Member and Chair of the ASPA MEA Chapter, underscored the urgent need for collective regional efforts to tackle counterfeiting. He highlighted the mounting challenges faced by brands and solution providers and encouraged companies to engage more actively with ASPA. Mr. Bajaj proposed the creation of a Dubai-based “Action Group” to amplify ASPA’s local impact—an idea welcomed by six companies that expressed interest in joining the initiative.

The event received an enthusiastic response, with 11 companies indicating their intention to become ASPA members, signaling rising regional interest in authentication solutions and cooperative engagement.

Mr. Ankit Gupta, ASPA Vice President, closed the session by extending sincere thanks to all attendees for their participation and commitment to the anti-counterfeiting mission.

The event concluded with a lively networking dinner and cocktail session, enabling delegates to connect, share ideas, and discuss collaborative solutions for securing regional supply chains.

“The turnout and engagement at our MEA Open House reflect a growing momentum toward global unity in securing product authenticity. This platform enables meaningful dialogue and partnerships essential for cross-border cooperation,” said Mr. Manoj Kochar.

The MEA Open House reinforced ASPA’s global outreach and strengthened its mission to empower regional stakeholders with both physical and digital authentication technologies, encouraging proactive efforts to combat counterfeit threats.
