Authentication Solution Providers’ Association (ASPA), working with CRISIL, has announced the launch of the ‘State of Counterfeiting in India 2025’ report during TAF Connect 2026, to be held on 16 March 2026 in Mumbai. The publication focuses on industry-wise insights, key risk developments, and practical measures to counter counterfeit activity in the pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and agriculture sectors, with an emphasis on consumer protection, supply-chain integrity, and brand security.

The conference will host the report launch and convene brand owners, regulators, policymakers, and technology providers. Its agenda includes panel discussions, technical sessions, policy exchanges, and solution demonstrations aimed at converting awareness into deployable anti-counterfeiting practices.

Mankind Pharma and Crystal Crop Protection are supporting the initiative as National Consumer Trust & Safety Partners. Additional support is being provided by CropLife India and the Irrigation Association of India, reflecting participation from multiple sectors.

Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Ankit Gupta, President, ASPA, said, “TAF Connect 2026 is built on collaboration and industry leadership. The launch of the ASPA–CRISIL ‘State of Counterfeiting in India 2025’ report at the conference will provide critical sectorial insights and actionable strategies to combat counterfeiting across key industries. The support of forward-looking brands such as Mankind Pharma and Crystal Crop Protection demonstrates how industry stakeholders can come together to strengthen consumer trust, enhance supply-chain transparency, and enable responsible growth. The conference will provide single-window access to the authentication and traceability ecosystem from secure packaging and overt and covert technologies to digital track-and-trace and smart authentication solutions making it a must-attend platform for brands seeking innovation and implementation-ready solutions.”

TAF Connect 2026 is positioned as India’s national forum on authentication and traceability, with the Mumbai edition highlighting the western region’s role in advancing industry-driven consumer protection and trusted supply chains.
