Harmanjot Singh wins the Half Marathon, while Bhagirathi Bisht finishes second in the Elite Women’s category as ASICS strengthens its engagement with India’s running community

ASICS, the Official Sports Goods Partner of the 15th NMDC Hyderabad Marathon, celebrated podium finishes by its athletes Harmanjot Singh and Bhagirathi Bisht at the event held on 30 August 2026. Harmanjot Singh secured first place in the Half Marathon category, while Bhagirathi Bisht finished second in the Elite Women’s category.

The marathon's 15th edition attracted thousands of runners from across India, reflecting the continued growth of distance running in the country.

ASICS Athletes Deliver Strong Performances

Representing ASICS, Harmanjot Singh claimed the top position in the Half Marathon category, while Bhagirathi Bisht earned second place in the Elite Women’s category.

Their performances highlighted the brand’s presence at one of India’s major running events as the marathon brought together participants from across the country.

ASICS House Offers Post-Race Experience

Beyond the competition, ASICS introduced the ASICS House, a dedicated post-race recovery zone designed for marathon participants.

The space featured a medal customisation station, photo booth and giveaways, offering runners an opportunity to unwind and celebrate their marathon experience after completing the race.

Along the marathon route, members of the ASICS Run Club (ARC) supported participants from the Motivation Zone, cheering runners throughout the course.

Celebrating the Running Community

Aligned with its 'Sound Mind, Sound Body' philosophy, ASICS highlighted the stories of everyday runners through a campaign showcasing individual journeys of discipline, resilience and personal progress.

The campaign focused on how running contributes to both athletic performance and everyday well-being.
