Digital shipping platform to provide domestic and international delivery solutions to Etsy sellers in Europe and APAC
Asendia, a cross-border e-commerce specialist, has partnered with Etsy, a global marketplace for unique and creative goods, to provide shipping solutions through the Asendia SendNow platform.
Under the collaboration, Etsy sellers in eight markets across Europe and the APAC region—Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Netherlands, Australia, India and Vietnam—will have access to domestic and international shipping solutions.
The initiative combines Etsy’s community of creative entrepreneurs with Asendia’s global logistics network, addressing shipping requirements faced by small-scale online retailers, including sellers who independently design, produce and ship their products.
SendNow Offers Digital Shipping Management
Asendia SendNow is a self-service online shipping platform developed for small businesses and marketplace sellers. It provides end-to-end shipping management through a single digital interface, allowing sellers to manage their logistics processes online.
“Sellers come to Etsy to turn their passions into livelihoods,” said Roman Sobieri, Senior Director of Global Shipping at Etsy. “We’re always looking for ways to help them succeed, and simplified shipping is a big part of that. Working with trusted partners like Asendia means we can offer more flexible, reliable options that help our sellers thrive.”
Shipping Access Across More Than 180 Destinations
As a shipping partner of Etsy, Asendia will promote SendNow directly to Etsy sellers in the eight markets covered by the collaboration. Sellers in these countries will have access to domestic shipping and international delivery to more than 180 global destinations through the Asendia network.
“Shipping can be a challenge for many small business owners,” said Simon Batt, CEO at Asendia. “Through our partnership with Etsy and the Asendia SendNow platform, we're simplifying logistics so sellers can focus more on growing their businesses and less on shipping.”
The partnership forms part of Asendia’s continued focus on e-commerce markets and online sellers. Through its collaboration with Etsy, the company is extending SendNow’s availability to additional marketplace merchants.
Asendia and Etsy Build on Existing Partnership
Etsy is a global online marketplace for unique, creative, handmade, vintage and craft-supply products. The company already uses Asendia services for shipping from the United States.
