Arvind Limited Establishes UAE Subsidiary and Opens London Design Hub

New UAE and UK operations aim to strengthen sourcing, product development, and regional market access across Europe, MENA, and the Americas

Arvind Limited has announced the launch of Arvind Atelier (FZC), its wholly owned subsidiary in the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone), along with a new Design Hub in London. The expansion is intended to strengthen the company’s sourcing, design, manufacturing integration, and customer engagement capabilities across key international markets.

The move comes as the company continues to expand its global operating structure across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and the Americas.

Arvind Limited, a textile and apparel manufacturer, has launched Arvind Atelier (FZC) in the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone), UAE, and opened a dedicated Design Hub in London as part of its international expansion strategy.

According to the company, the new operating structure is designed to support global brands through a combination of design capabilities, sourcing operations, and vertically integrated manufacturing across multiple regions.

“This expansion marks an important milestone in Arvind’s global growth journey.” said Punit Lalbhai, Vice Chairman, Arvind Limited. “By bringing design, sourcing and execution closer to key international markets, we are enhancing our ability to deliver speed, flexibility, quality and responsible manufacturing solutions to global brands.” he added.

Arvind Limited has appointed Rakesh Chadha as Managing Director of Arvind Atelier. He has more than three decades of experience in apparel sourcing, supply chain management, and international business development.

In his role, Chadha will oversee customer engagement, sourcing operations, regional business expansion, and strategic partnerships across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. He will also lead integrated teams covering design, product development, sourcing, and operations.

“London will serve as a strategic hub connecting Arvind’s innovation capabilities with Europe’s dynamic fashion ecosystem. The model is designed to enable closer collaboration with customers and support faster, market-responsive product development.” said Rakesh.

The London Design Hub will focus on customer interaction, product development, and trend analysis, while the UAE-based Arvind Atelier platform will manage sourcing coordination, manufacturing integration, logistics, and regional market access across the company’s global network.

The company stated that Arvind Atelier will function as an integrated sourcing platform across product categories including denim, casual wear, shirts, knits, sweaters, essentials, and activewear.

Arvind Limited reported that its garmenting division produced approximately 37 million pieces in FY25, while woven fabric production reached approximately 128 million metres. The company also stated that its annual denim fabric manufacturing capacity exceeds 110 million metres.

The expansion comes amid continued growth opportunities in Europe and the MENA region. According to CBI, Europe imported approximately €180.5 billion worth of apparel in 2024. Deep Market Insights estimated the Middle East and Africa fashion apparel market at approximately USD 172 billion in 2025.

The company also noted that the launch of the London hub aligns with the anticipated implementation of the UK–India Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, which is expected to support bilateral trade opportunities for India’s textile and apparel sector.
