Archroma and Prosperity Textile Partner to Advance Denim Innovation

The collaboration will focus on developing denim fabrics with improved aesthetics, durability and performance, alongside a shared commitment to sustainability.
Specialty chemicals company Archroma and international fabric manufacturer Prosperity Textile have announced a partnership to advance denim innovation. The companies will work together to develop, evaluate and implement new approaches aimed at improving denim aesthetics, durability and performance while supporting more sustainable production methods.
Archroma, which operates in specialty chemicals, will collaborate with Prosperity Textile, a fabric manufacturer with production bases in China and Vietnam, to explore new possibilities in denim development.
“An innovation only matters once it reaches the market, and that takes a partner who will help shape it, test it and run it at scale,” said Jordi Calucho, Super Systems Denim Director, Archroma. “Prosperity Textile brings that partnership, and together we want to give denim brands and consumers the look and lasting performance they crave, made in more sustainable ways.”
Stafford Lau, Director, Prosperity Textile, highlighted the company's experience in denim manufacturing and its production capabilities.
“After 25 years in denim, we know what it takes to turn a good idea into a great fabric,” said Stafford Lau, Director, Prosperity Textile. “Our smart factory infrastructure lets us develop and test new ideas quickly and take the best of them into production. We look forward to exploring what’s possible with Archroma, from classic to creative.”
The partnership will bring together Archroma’s specialty chemical expertise and Prosperity Textile’s fabric development and manufacturing capabilities to explore new approaches across denim design and production.
