ANDRITZ to Supply Additional Wetlace Line to Dalian Ruiguang for Flushable Wipes Production in China

The WetlaceTM line will increase Dalian Ruiguang’s total annual production capacity to 40,000 tons. The nonwovens produced on the line are pulp-based, biodegradable, and designed to disperse quickly in sewage systems.

According to the company, the products meet the International Water Services Flushability Group (IWSFG) standard and the Japanese flushing specification (JIS P 4501), both of which are increasingly important for regulatory compliance and market acceptance.

The production line is designed to provide stable operations, efficient processing, and consistent product quality. It also offers flexibility in processing different raw materials and basis weights, allowing adaptation to changing market requirements.

Mr. Gu Dong Zhao, Vice President, Dalian Ruiguang, states: “The new WetlaceTM line is a key step in our growth strategy. Dalian Ruiguang’s decades-long experience in flushable product innovation and production line upgrades, coupled with ANDRITZ’s proven engineering and manufacturing expertise as well as strong local execution and support, gives us confidence in the fast implementation of this project and reliable long-term operation.”

The latest order further extends the partnership between ANDRITZ and Dalian Ruiguang. Since 2014, the company has installed two WetlaceTM lines from ANDRITZ, including one dedicated to flushable wipes production and another equipped with ANDRITZ TT carding plus wetlaid pulp composite technology.

Dalian Ruiguang has also installed three parallel, semi-crosslapped spunlace lines supplied by ANDRITZ.
