ANDRITZ to Present Sustainable Nonwoven Technologies at INDEX26

Focus on hygiene recycling, wipes production, lyocell solutions, and digitalization at Geneva event
International technology Group ANDRITZ will present its latest nonwovens production and textile technologies at INDEX26, scheduled to take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from May 19–22, 2026. The company will exhibit in Hall 2, booth 2114, highlighting developments in sustainable materials, recycling, and digital solutions.
The showcase will include innovations across hygiene production, wipes technologies, fiber processing, and lifecycle services, reflecting ongoing developments in nonwoven manufacturing.
ANDRITZ will display a broad portfolio of technologies focused on sustainable and durable nonwovens, along with solutions for converting, fiber processing, recycling, and lifecycle support.
In hygiene production, the company will present its range of absorbent hygiene products (AHP) converting and recycling systems. These include processes for adult, feminine, and baby care applications, alongside recycling technologies designed to convert diaper production waste into reusable raw materials. The portfolio also features adult care production lines designed for efficiency, super absorbent polymers (SAP) management, and operational performance.

The diaper recycling system integrates the expertise of ANDRITZ Diatec in hygiene converting and ANDRITZ Laroche in recycling. The system enables separation of SAP, fluff pulp, and plastics, allowing materials to be reused in a closed-loop process.
ANDRITZ will also highlight ultrasonic lamination systems with modular full-servo designs aimed at ensuring process stability, reduced waste, and adaptability for different production requirements.
In wipes production, the company will present technologies supporting the use of natural and renewable fibers. Its spunlace solutions are designed for high-performance wipes and hygiene applications, while Wetlace™ technologies enable the production of pulp-based and blended materials. Solutions for flushable and dispersible wipes will also be featured, in line with regulatory and market requirements.
The wipes portfolio is complemented by carded pulp and airlaid technologies, offering alternatives to wetlaid processes and enabling upgrades of existing spunlace lines.
For man-made cellulosic fibers (MMCF), ANDRITZ will present its capabilities in lyocell production. The offering includes complete plant solutions, covering engineering, equipment such as flash dryers and pulp preparation systems, as well as services for plant audits and upgrades. The lyocell process is recognized for its environmental characteristics and product quality.
In nonwoven web formation, ANDRITZ will introduce the X-Pro™ crosslapper, designed for spunlace and needlepunch applications. The system supports high-speed production while maintaining uniform web formation and integrates with the ProWin™ web weight regulation system. It is available for both new installations and retrofit projects.
Lifecycle management will be addressed through ANDRITZ SYNERGY™ service agreements. These services cover the full equipment lifecycle, including maintenance, upgrades, and technical support, aimed at ensuring consistent production performance.
Digitalization will be presented under the Metris brand. The Metris platform provides tools for production management, process simulation, optimization using AI, Advanced Control Expert (ACETM) solutions, and condition monitoring through sensors. Demonstrations at the booth will show how these systems support operational efficiency and monitoring.
In addition to the exhibition, ANDRITZ FRANCE will offer trials at its Montbonnot technical center from May 11 to May 29. Visitors will be able to conduct spunlace, Airlace™, and Wetlace™ trials using their own materials, evaluate product characteristics, and test process parameters in a controlled environment. The facility is located approximately two hours from Geneva.
The ANDRITZ Nonwoven & Textile team will be present at booth 2114 in hall 2 during the event.
