AMI Launches Textiles Manufacturing Expo 2027 in Charlotte Alongside Textiles Recycling Expo USA
New co-located exhibition and conference will bring together textile manufacturing and recycling industries to showcase the complete textile lifecycle
AMI has introduced the Textiles Manufacturing Expo, a new exhibition and conference dedicated to textile manufacturing, which will debut on April 7–8, 2027, at the Charlotte Convention Center, North Carolina.
The event will be held alongside the Textiles Recycling Expo USA, bringing together stakeholders from manufacturing and recycling to showcase the complete textile lifecycle.
The launch follows the success of the Textiles Recycling Expo in Brussels, Belgium, and the inaugural Textiles Recycling Expo USA in Charlotte. Through the new event, AMI is expanding its presence in the textile sector with a dedicated platform for technologies, machinery, materials and expertise related to textile, fiber and yarn production.
The Textiles Recycling Expo USA attracted 1,858 visitors, 95 exhibitors and 52 expert speakers during its two-day event in April 2026. With the addition of the Textiles Manufacturing Expo in 2027, attendees will have access to a co-located platform covering the broader textile value chain.
The combined events will provide exhibitors with opportunities to engage with manufacturers, technology providers, material suppliers, brands, designers, recyclers and other industry professionals.
“This new expo will provide a much-needed forum for the suppliers of raw materials and production technologies to connect with textile manufacturers to discuss the innovations and applications that will move the industry forward,” said Chrissy Winegarden, exhibition sales manager at AMI. “Those manufacturers already attend Textiles Recycling Expo USA in large numbers, so we have a ready-made audience looking for new solutions”.
The Textiles Manufacturing Expo will feature exhibitors from several industry segments, including:
- Suppliers of machinery and equipment for textile manufacturing, finishing and printing
- Fiber and yarn suppliers
- Providers of dyes, chemicals and finishing solutions
- Testing, inspection and quality assurance organizations
- Automation, AI and smart manufacturing specialists
- Software and digital solutions providers
- Consultancies and research & development organizations
The event will also include a dedicated conference theatre featuring keynote presentations, technical sessions and case studies.
According to AMI, Charlotte, North Carolina, was selected as the venue due to its established textile manufacturing ecosystem, textile heritage, research institutions, technology providers and manufacturing base.
