American Circular Textiles Becomes Founding Partner of U.S. Expo

Partnership strengthens U.S. circular textile policy and industry collaboration
American Circular Textiles (AMCIRC), a leading U.S. coalition for circular fashion and textile policy, has been announced as a Founding Partner of the inaugural Textile Recycling Expo USA, set to take place in April 2026. The partnership aims to amplify industry-wide collaboration and drive stronger national momentum for textile circularity.
American Circular Textiles, a public policy coalition representing more than 30 apparel, fashion, and circular supply chain stakeholders, has been selected as a Founding Partner for the first edition of the Textile Recycling Expo USA. The event will be held from April 29–30, 2026, at the Charlotte Convention Center, bringing together decision-makers and innovators from across the fashion, footwear, and textile ecosystem — including recyclers, manufacturers, brands, policymakers, and solution providers — in Charlotte, North Carolina, a historic hub of the American textile industry.
Following the success of the expo’s Brussels edition, the U.S. launch marks a major step in expanding industry collaboration. As a Founding Partner, AMCIRC gains an influential role in shaping the event’s high-level discussions and policy dialogues. Through this collaboration, AMCIRC intends to elevate its research, share expertise, and deepen connections among leaders striving to mainstream textile circularity across the United States.
“American Circular Textiles is honored to join Textile Recycling Expo USA as a Founding Partner to bring circular policy to the forefront of industry dialogue,” said Rachel Kibbe, Founder & CEO of American Circular Textiles. “This partnership further underscores the importance of alignment among recyclers, manufacturers, brands, and policymakers to scale textile circularity nationwide.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome American Circular Textiles as a Founding Partner for Textiles Recycling Expo USA,” said Isobel Ree, Marketing Manager, Textiles Recycling Expo Portfolio. “Their leadership in advancing circular fashion policy and uniting key stakeholders perfectly reflects the mission of our event — to create a collaborative, solutions-driven platform that drives tangible progress in textile recycling and circularity across North America. We’re incredibly excited to work alongside American Circular Textiles in shaping discussions that will help define the future of this industry.”
Founded in 2022, AMCIRC serves as the nation’s foremost circular fashion and textile platform, enabling knowledge-sharing and policy advancement among influential industry players. Its recent work includes contributions to G7 circular design initiatives, support for the bipartisan Recommerce Caucus, advising on multi-state EPR strategies, and consultation on the Americas Act — legislation that could potentially introduce the first federal incentives for circular fashion in the U.S.
