Alva Industries to Unveil New SlimTorq™ Motors at Automatica

Alva Industries, a Norwegian pioneer in frameless motor technology and the inventor of FiberPrinting™, has announced the upcoming debut of its SlimTorq™ series, including a new ultra-compact 25mm outer diameter model, at the Automatica 2025 trade fair, scheduled for June 24–27 in Munich, Germany.

Alva Industries will exhibit at Booth #521 in Hall B6, where attendees can experience live demonstrations and speak directly with the engineering team to explore the performance and applications of SlimTorq™ motors.

The SlimTorq™ motor line is designed to deliver a breakthrough blend of minimal profile and lightweight construction, ideal for industries requiring precision and speed, such as robotics, automation, and mechatronics. These motors are crafted using Alva’s proprietary FiberPrinting™ process, a cutting-edge method that creates ironless and slotless windings with up to 60% copper fill and zero cogging, setting new benchmarks in torque density, precision, and flexibility.

The SlimTorq™ portfolio spans outer diameters from 25mm to 160mm, offering adaptability for a wide range of integration requirements. Furthermore, FiberPrinting™ enables rapid customization of rotary, arc, and linear motors, shortening development cycles and enhancing design flexibility.
