Alva Industries to Showcase SlimTorq™ Frameless Motors at Robotics Summit & Expo 2026

Alva Industries (ALVA) will participate in Robotics Summit & Expo 2026, which will take place on 27-28 May at the Menino Convention and Exposition Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
At booth #440, the company will display SlimTorq™, described as frameless motors designed with a thin and lightweight form factor. Alva will also present its patented FiberPrinting™ technology and conduct live interactive motor demonstrations with support from company engineers.
Robotics Summit & Expo is a technical design and development event focused on the commercial robotics and intelligent systems sector. The 2026 edition is expected to bring together more than 6,000 robotics developers, engineers, and decision-makers from industries including aerospace and defense, healthcare, logistics, and manufacturing.
During the event, Alva will present the SlimTorq™ frameless motor family in multiple sizes, allowing attendees to review different form factors and assess compatibility with motion system requirements.
According to the company, SlimTorq™ motors feature slotless and frameless designs intended for applications requiring high torque density, low cogging, and compact radial integration. The motors are positioned for use in robotic joints, collaborative arm actuators, exoskeletons, and precision positioning systems.
Evaluation units will also be available at the booth, allowing engineers to examine physical motor samples and discuss integration requirements with Alva specialists.
The company will additionally display FiberPrinting™ windings, its proprietary stator manufacturing technology. According to Alva, FiberPrinting™ enables production of motors in various shapes and sizes while maintaining a minimal axial footprint, efficiency, and thermal management characteristics.
A live interactive motor demonstration will operate throughout both days of the event.
“Robotics engineers are working with tighter constraints and higher performance requirements than ever before. Flexibility that guarantees Design Freedom is one of the most important challenges in component selection. SlimTorq™ is a direct answer to that challenge, and Boston is the right place to have that conversation. We look forward to showing what Alva can do in practice”
