Alva Adds New Sizes & Sensor to SlimTorq™ Motor Series

Alva Industries, a leader in frameless motor technology and the innovator behind FiberPrinting™, has expanded its SlimTorq™ range with new diameters of 25mm, 85mm, and 160mm. This expansion enhances the series’ adaptability across more precision-driven sectors.

In addition, Alva has rolled out a 3-phase Hall-effect sensor option for the complete SlimTorq™ line. Featuring open-drain output, a built-in 1.2kΩ pull-up resistor, and 5VDC supply, this sensor simplifies integration for systems that require commutation, or basic speed and position feedback.

SlimTorq™ motors, known for being the slimmest and lightest torque motors on the market, are ideal for ultra-precise and high-speed tasks across land, sea, air, and space. Made with FiberPrinting™ technology, they feature ironless, slotless windings and a copper fill factor up to 60%, achieving superior precision, torque density, and thermal efficiency.
