Ajmera Fashion’s pavilion at Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026 brought together 100 regional textile vendors, providing a common exhibition platform for businesses from across India. The four-day event concluded on August 15 at Bharat Mandapam, highlighting regional craftsmanship and industry collaboration.
Ajmera Fashion Ltd. participated in the Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026 as the official Textile Partner, bringing together 100 textile vendors representing different regions of India under one exhibition pavilion. The four-day event concluded on August 15 at Bharat Mandapam.
Led by Ajay Ajmera, CEO and Founder of Ajmera Fashion Ltd., the company's pavilion was designed as a shared exhibition space showcasing the diversity of regional Indian weavers, manufacturers and textile suppliers.
Rather than operating as a conventional retail outlet, the pavilion functioned exclusively as an exhibition area. Visitors explored products and regional craftsmanship while exhibitors engaged directly with industry buyers, providing smaller manufacturers, regional weavers and independent suppliers with national-level visibility.
During the event, the Ajmera Fashion pavilion was visited by Hon’ble Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal Ji and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Rekha Gupta Ji, who viewed the textile displays and exhibits presented at the pavilion.
By hosting 100 participating vendors within a common exhibition space, Ajmera Fashion created an opportunity for regional businesses and independent entrepreneurs to present their products before a wider national audience.
Speaking on the successful conclusion of the Mahotsav, Mr. Ajay Ajmera, Founder and CEO, Ajmera Fashion Ltd., said, “Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav has given us an opportunity to bring the collective strength of India's textile industry together on one platform. We are proud to have brought 100 vendors from across the country and presented their diversity, craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit to a national audience. Our heritage is our foundation, and our collective ambition will take Indian textiles to the world.”
The Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026 brought together businesses from multiple sectors, with a focus on indigenous manufacturing, entrepreneurship, trade expansion and economic development. The event also showcased developments related to Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Vande Bharat, space exploration, solar energy, agriculture, technology and infrastructure.
Following the conclusion of the event, Ajmera Fashion stated that it will continue efforts to strengthen connections between regional textile businesses and larger commercial networks. The company will focus on expanding market access for Indian textiles and supporting regional suppliers in reaching both domestic and international buyers.
