Ajay Ajmera to Lead Surat Textile Showcase with 60 Vendors at Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026

Surat textile companies to participate through a 10,000 sq. ft. exhibition space, including the 4,000 sq. ft. Ajmera Pavilion at Bharat Mandapam

Ajay Ajmera, Founder and CEO of Ajmera Fashion Ltd., one of Surat's textile and ethnic fashion companies, will represent the city's textile sector at Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026 by bringing together 60 textile vendors under a unified exhibition platform. The event will be held from August 12 to 15, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, and is positioned as one of India's multi-sectoral business and trade exhibitions.

The Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026 is jointly organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation and the Confederation of All India Traders. The event is centred on the Swadeshi movement with the theme, "Made in India. Made for India. Made for the World." Conducted in pursuance of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat, it aims to promote domestic manufacturing.

Serving as a Work Partner for the event, Ajay Ajmera is developing a 10,000-square-foot exhibition space, including a dedicated 4,000-square-foot "Ajmera Pavilion." The pavilion is intended as a platform for displaying premium fabrics and textile innovations from Surat rather than functioning as a conventional retail space.

The participating 60 exhibitors represent a broad range of textile product categories, reflecting the scale and diversity of Surat's textile industry. The group includes both established and emerging businesses, with participation from several women-led enterprises.

Speaking on the initiative, Ajay Ajmera said, "Surat's textile ecosystem relies heavily on grassroots entrepreneurship, but smaller manufacturers rarely secure the national exposure they deserve. The Ajmera Pavilion serves as a unified demonstration of our city's industrial scale rather than just being a product showcase. We want national corporate buyers, institutional investors, and retail stakeholders to see the scale, diversity, and innovation driving our city's factories."

The initiative is intended to facilitate direct business opportunities between Surat-based apparel manufacturers and distribution networks across India. By bringing multiple suppliers together on one platform, the pavilion supports interaction with buyers from different regions and industries.

As preparations for the event conclude, the Ajmera Pavilion is set to present Surat's textile manufacturing capabilities through a collective showcase of local vendors. The participation is expected to provide a platform for business networking and commercial engagement during Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026.
