AI Circular Economy Meet Opens Call for Abstracts 2026

.Artificial Intelligence (AI) has moved beyond being just a tech trend and is now a key driver in the shift from fossil fuels to renewable carbon sources within the chemical and materials sectors Considered one of the biggest industrial transitions since the Industrial Revolution, this shift demands top-tier digital innovations—and AI is emerging as the central enabler of this transformation.

To support and accelerate this shift, nova-Institute announces the AI Circular Economy Conference to be held from 4–5 March 2026 in Cologne and online. This event aims to gather leading experts, researchers, and innovators to highlight how AI applications are unlocking the full potential of renewable carbon from biomass, carbon capture utilization (CCU), and recycling.

Call for Abstracts – Submission Topics:
The conference invites abstracts on AI integration into sustainable and circular material systems across four key areas:

    • Machine learning in enzyme and protein optimization
    • Smart farming and biomass cultivation
  2. CO₂-based Solutions (CCU)
    • AI modeling for CCU processes and catalysis
    • Optimization of CO₂ capture
    • Electrochemical pathway design via AI
  3. Advanced Recycling
    • AI-enabled depolymerization control
    • Waste stream sorting & feedstock analysis
    • Recycled materials quality assurance
  4. Cross-disciplinary Approaches
    • AI for lifecycle assessment & supply chain forecasting
    • Policy modeling & sustainability assessments
    • Infrastructure readiness & data integration

Deadline: Submit your abstract by 5 September 2025. Submissions after the deadline may still be considered if they hold particular relevance or innovation value.
