nova-Institute has announced the formation of a new Advisory Board for the AI Circular Economy Conference 2026, scheduled for 4–5 March 2026 in Cologne and online. The board will unite leading experts from artificial intelligence, biotechnology, software, chemicals, materials, and academia to curate a comprehensive and balanced program.

The conference aims to highlight how artificial intelligence can accelerate circularity and renewable carbon adoption. nova-Institute’s Co-CEOs, Lars Börger and Michael Carus, along with Achim Raschka, Head of Technology & Markets, will represent the organisation on the Advisory Board.

“Artificial intelligence is reshaping economies globally, but its potential is particularly significant in the bioeconomy, CO₂ utilisation, and recycling,” said Michael Carus, CEO of nova-Institute. “Here, the opportunities for optimisation are even greater than in the fossil-based linear system.”

Echoing this vision, Lars Börger added, “AI is becoming a powerful catalyst for the Renewable Carbon Economy and Circularity, driving faster technological maturity and enabling new business models. We look forward to engaging with our stakeholders to test these perspectives.”

The AI Circular Economy Conference 2026 will act as a global platform to connect innovators, researchers, and industry leaders in shaping sustainable and technology-driven solutions for the future.
