It is unlikely that Turkiye’s home textile exports to the US in 2022 will surpass those of 2021. The export from Turkiye to the US slowed down to reach $961.116 million in the first ten months of 2022, which was much less than the number of 2021 since the golden time of home textiles that started during the pandemic globally has finished.

Turkiye’s domestic textile exports to the US had been rising steadily up until 2021, when they jumped to $1,590.728 million from $1,224.894 million. According to industry experts, the consumption and purchase of home textiles surged significantly in 2020 as a result of the majority of the world’s population being compelled to work from home owing to the COVID-19 epidemic and lockdowns.

Turkiye’s home textile exports to the US increased dramatically in 2021 compared to the $725.660 million shipment in 2017. In 2018 and 2019, the nation exported home textiles for $815.040 million and $920.750 million, respectively.

In the first 10 months of 2022, $961.116 million in exports were made. The exports were $260.682 million in Q3 2022, $313.563 million in Q2 2022, and $295.701 million in Q1 2022, on a quarterly basis.
